Very clean, the resort is nice and the food was very good

The beds are super old and uncomfortable

Hotel is a little bit dated but well maintaned, staff sometimes is not very friendly but just one call to customer service solved out. In summer there is a lot of people so expect not to have fast service, if you give a good tip to the waiters then all goes better. Food is OK, do not expect 5 stars meals. Overall is a decent service and you get what you paid for, even a little bit better. Kids have a lot of fun and that is what matters the most. If you are looking for premium food and beverages and a super service then spend a little bit more money and go for other options, if your main goal is kids having fun while you have some rest with average food and beverages, then this place is for you.

Better customer orientation Faster service

The view, the pool, the beautiful landscaping, the variety of activities. There was a good variety of food and beverages.

The swim up bar should have been located in an “adults only” area of the pool. Too many kids screaming, splashing, taking up seats, ordering drinks. Have a separate area for the kids. Also do a better job of stopping people from saving lounge chairs in the shade. Way too many chairs in shaded areas sitting unused. Perhaps have more than one kayak.

Good location, close to marina and airport. Wifi was strong throughout the property. Bedroom was comfortable, pool chairs were good. I thought the staff were quite responsive and hard working.

While I thought the food was ok, I felt it was a bit bland and boring. I realize trying to feed that many people is tough. I felt overall the place was a bit expensive at over $400 Canadian a night for a couple.

the property was much nicer than the reviews lead you to believe and I had a great experience. The food was better than a bigger name all-inclusive I was at previously as well. The location is fabulous, and it’s very close to the marina.

It took over an hour to check in, and I was first in line behind one family. My room wasn’t ready and it was past check-in time. It also was a long wait to check out, and they don’t just let you drop keys and go. Also the sheets were a bit rough, which sucks if you’re sunburned. (Even if you’re not, they’re rough, but it’s my fault I burnt). The tub water wasn’t pretty at all, but ran clearer for the shower.

good place to go with kids

Melia split the reservation in two so on arrival we had reservation on different names and therefor they put our young kids at 10 minutes walk from our room, although we had requested ROOMS CLOSE TO EACH OTHER. This definately ruined part of our stay because we had to be going there all the time to see if our kids were ok.

The service was fantastic. The restaurants have quality food and excellent service. Ricardo and Ignacio provided outstanding customer service and care to all the customers. Their team was attentive and always trying to help the guest.

Bed could be newer. But they were comfortable

We enjoyed the food. We made sure to try every restaurant on location. Breakfast was my favorite! Additionally, our room service was top-notch!

The air condition was adequate but could be better.
