Location is fantastic, the staff are very friendly. It’s a beautiful, clean hotel.

My room had one round plug, the kettle has a round plug. You then have to unplug the tv to use the kettle or to iron. For the cost of a room, those types of problems should not exist. Also there are no irons in the room. You have to phone housekeeping for one. Again it’s a round plug, l could not iron as cable of the iron was too short. The room doors have evidently been painted, terrible paint job.

Very clean place, friendly staff, very professional, good and prompt service. I loved that when we arrived, the staff quickly helped with our bags and took us to our room and showed us how to settle in. The breakfast was a masterpiece. Lots of healthy options to choose from. Wonderful. The hotel is also conveniently placed, right in the city centre with transport right outside and also the bus coach office right next door.

The room was amazingly clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was phenomenal. We also had a great time walking around the city

I can't say I didn't like this but the old pub at the top floor with the city view was now a conference room which is understandable from a business stand point

The rooms are big and comfortable

There are no price lists on the menu in the restaurant. One cannot choose what one wants and can afford. One has to ask the price for each item and waiters have good memory as prices are recalled! It’s a very poor way!

Clean and neat Everything was working

- Something was loose and making noise during the night of the 26th when it was windy - Find a way of making the fridges in the room run silently because when the thermostat kicks in and out it makes so much noise that you wake up and this happens throughout the night(if you switch off the fridge, it defrosts)

The hotel was very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. My room was cleaned daily, fresh sheets. Loved everything food was beautiful however a bit pricey.

Sometimes housekeeping comes early in the morning, however had the do not disturb sign

Rainbow is located in the city centre with walking distance to everything Bulawayo has to offer. This is my second stay at the hotel, and I have been very satisfied both times I have staid here. Nice rooms, free high-speed WiFi. Bulawayo is my favourite city in Zimbabwe, and Rainbow hotel is my favourite hotel. I have not tried the breakfast, so I can't comment on that one.

There was nothing I didn't like:)

The rooms where big and a big window opening on to a balcony. Nice chairs to seat on . The bed is the best part !!( very big and good) The staff are the best very helpfu, respectful, they listen to all demands and nice.

The TV has showers all the time ( that needs fixing) and some work being done during the day (But that might finish when they are done with renovation.)

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are quite spacious and the food is decent. The location is central.

The bathrooms only have baths, no showers. It would also be helpful if it was possible to add meals directly with the booking instead of having to negotiate this separately with the restaurant.

Breakfast was good. The location was very convenient in relation to my meeting place. I liked the sofas and the coffee table.

Old fashioned HVAC unit and there was no mini safe in the room.
