What a stunning lodge this is! Beautiful setting and tastefully decorated, quiet rooms with ample space and very comfortable layout. Very nice bar area next to the pool, and a superb restaurant serving exquisite meals for dinner. Excellent breakfast included. Wifi was working very well with no interruptions. Free shuttle bus to town at set times, and paid transportation at other times can be arranged. What stood out the most was the wonderful service from the staff, always polite and friendly, and going out of their way to make sure all guests have all their needs met. In particular I need to single out the wonderful receptionist, Grace, who always goes to the extreme to tend to all the guests particular whims and needs, and does it with a huge smile. This lady does so much more than her job requires, and with such passion, she is a wonderful ambassador for the lodge, she should be made the PR manager!

This is the most amazing Lodge. I recommend it highly. It is a brand new very modern lodge. Breakfast is fantastic with personal service. The gardens are well layout and the swimming pool is brilliant blue and has a lookout on a small waterhole were you can see waterhog and small animals. They offer a free shuttle service to the Vic Falls and town, and the drivers are very friendly and always on time. The rooms are spacious with a modern bathroom and very comfortable bed. I would like to mention the following staff who made our stay exceptional : Grace, Lulu, Rachell, Nora and Mary - Thank you Insika Lodge, you were great !!

Leaving Insika Lodge

I was on a tour that I ended up leaving before it finished, for many reasons and was not in a good place mentally as a result. I was so lucky to have been able to book Insika for four nights, where I was able to recover both physically and mentally as I made preparations for unexpected changes to my travel plans. Insika was the panacea to my needs at the right time. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful and friendly, even remembering and using my name throughout my four day stay, which made me feel connected and considered. The food was delicious and well priced, the bar staff willing and able to make me the best chocolate milkshakes and the day spa helped me relax and get me back to me. I honestly had the best massage of my life at this spa and I have had many. The complementary river cruise, four course canapé menu, washed down with multiple mojitos, was divine and overall my very short stay was exactly what I needed at a really difficult time for me. Refreshed from all the relaxing (I even had a Pumba come visit the little river at the back of my room!) and reinvigorated by some genuinely good service and the most luxurious and comfortable accommodation, I was in the right space to be able to make ongoing travel plans that allowed me to move forward with a long awaited trip to beautiful Africa. Did I tell you that the bed was so comfortable and after 42 days of travel across Africa in less than stellar accommodations, I felt like a princess floating on clouds. It was my favorite place to be for quite a few hours. I can’t thank the whole crew at Insika for their lovely natures and kind hearted service. Nothing was too much for anyone, everyone was happy to help me with anything I needed. You were exactly what I needed. I would thoroughly recommend this lodge to anyone wanting to get away, to see the most beautiful location in Zimbabwe (the falls) and to enjoy a little luxury.

The only thing I didn’t like was that I had to leave. I could have stayed here for ever.

The staff at Insika breathe even more life into the place as well as the wildlife surrounding and within the lodge! Everyone has a smile (and in my case a sweet curiosity for your well-being and comfort). The quietness of the lodge was all I needed as a light sleeper in need of rest. The rooms are clean, contemporarily designed, spacious and the beds comfy. I appreciate the option of a ceiling fan as well as AC. The welcome is warm, informative and comprehensive. The Dinner River Cruise was delightful from start to finish.

I wasn’t a fan of the food at the restaurant. My dishes tasted quite bland and overcooked. Experiences of miscommunication among staff.

Insika Lodge is a peaceful place with spacious and comfortable rooms. The restaurant offers freshly made breakfasts based on a varied menu, ensuring that the food is always fresh and prepared to order. The dinner service is also well-organized, but it requires planning from travelers, as the hotel requests advance notice for dinner reservations to guarantee fresh and high-quality meals. The hotel is somewhat removed from the city, making it secluded and quiet. However, the transfer service provided by the hotel to the falls and city center is very convenient and works seamlessly. I would like to highlight the cordiality of the hotel team, who were always available to assist and answer all my questions. They helped me with everything from arranging airport transfers to giving tips on where to buy souvenirs in the city. A special thanks to Grace, who helped me organize tours and kindly arranged a breakfast bag for the day when my tour started before breakfast service. Be sure to do the Sunset Cruise offered by the Lodge – it's a unique experience!

I noticed that there were no "Do Not Disturb" signs available in the rooms. Considering that the staff visits the rooms twice a day (in the morning for cleaning and in the afternoon to prepare the bed and apply mosquito repellent), having such signs would be helpful for guests who wish to rest or prefer more privacy and opt out of these services.

The staff were just awesome. Nothing was too much trouble. Special mention to Washington at front desk, Trudy in the dining area and last but not least, the famous Chef Robbie who has culinary skills of note. The beds were comfortable and Insika pays such incredible attention to detail. I asked for sheet and blanket instead of duvet and they delivered. Small things like the fold back and drawing the mosquito nets in the evening add that personal touch. This place is Vic Falls best kept secret. We'll definitely be back again for another wonderful stay at one of the best lodges I've stayed in so far.

Service was a little slow on the Saturday when all we ordered was a chicken mayo panini but well worth waiting for as it was delicious.

We had an amazing experience at this STUNNING property! Our rooms offered breathtaking views of the woodlands, providing a unique opportunity to observe various animals in their natural habitat. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food, with a tasty breakfast and a range of satisfying options for lunch and dinner. The standout aspect of our stay was the exceptional service. The entire staff is friendly and professional, but Grace at the reception truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. Her warmth and attention to detail made a lasting impression and truly elevated our experience. I highly recommend this property for a memorable and relaxing getaway.

The service - everyone was so helpful, from the daily evening turn down service to booking all our activities, and making us gluten free bread fresh daily. They extended our room for a late check out because our flight got delayed, above and beyond. The rooms are all new and well kept, as are the gardens. We could even see wildlife from our balcony because you’re on top of the national park! There’s also a free shuttle into town regularly.

The food is quite western, would have loved a little more local cuisine.

It’s small and quiet which was lovely for relaxing. All the staff were exceptional and no request was too much for them. My flight out was delayed by 4 hours so they let me stay in my room for the rest of the day which was awesome. They also provide a free shuttle into the falls a few times a day and a turn down service in the evenings to draw the mosquito nets which was a nice touch. The lodge is close to the Boma dinner and drum show which I also recommend.
