The room was newly renovated. Nice and clean. Quiet location.

No restaurants or shops nearby. Poor selection of meals for dinner. Not a lot of choice for breakfast.

Nice hotel in quite area. Friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant within walking distance.

The breakfast was exactly the same every morning. Some variation would have been nice - perhaps some fresh fruit?

The location was just what we were looking for, nice and quiet. Thulani made the best breakfasts and Knowledge gave us good value cab rides. The swimming pool was small but refreshing.

The room had been freshly painted so it still smelled. Also, the hotel didn't send transportation for us to be picked up.

Decent size room with a comfy bed. A good breakfast was included for our stay . Nice entertainment area and greenery near the pool area.

The renovation staff banging on the wall beside us in the morning. We were supposed to get the upgraded room with AC and garden views but there were more renovations for that block of rooms so we settled for a regular room.

I had read some other reviews before booking and l was on the fence but l am happy l booked because they surpassed my expectations. I understand they are under new management and l can see that the place is different from the other not so high reviews l had read. The furniture was fine, not old and the bed was comfortable. They were flexible with check-in and checkout times. All the staff l met were very professional, from the security, the reception guys Elton and Benele, and the kitchen staff. The lady at the spa was also professional (Simelinkosi). They also offered breakfast, which was generous, but unfortunbately its the same menu everyday (English Breakfast). The area is nice and quiet. They have a pool. Good WiFi connectivity. I would stay there again.

The breakfast, although generous, is repetitive - same thing everyday (English breakfast). The location, although nice, is not so convinient if you are not driving. You spend about USD 5 minimum each way to and from the CBD but then again, l think most locations outside the CDB requires using a taxi. The spa needs a better location, maybe a room in one of the main building as the tent is not ideal in summer, it becomes hot but great that there was a spa onsite. I would however stay there again.

Very clean, big bathroom, air conditioning did not work (it was switched off in the building somewhere), but they immediately sorted it out when we told them. The setting was lovely. We didn't get to sample the pool but it looked nice.

I told them I was vegan way in advance, but not a lot of effort was made to make me comfortable regards to this. They just basically told me that they could give me the stuff minus the meat. Ended up paying $13 for spaghetti with ketchup. Granted, in a country where veganism is not prominent, I can't expect a lot.

Livingston Lodge is farther away from the centre of Victoria Falls, it's in a renovated and enlarged old colonial house in a big conpound. It has big rooms with good furniture and a nice, clean big ensuite bathroom. The staff is very friendly, but not always available. We had breakfast and lunch there and the food is good; the restaurant corner had coffee/thee, cereal and milk, water and cookies available. We needed a taxi to go to the center and the receptionist always arranged that for us very quickly.

There wasn't always enough staff especially at the little outdoor restaurant corner; this meant it was long waiting time to get food.

Our room was large and comfortable. It had an airconditioner in it as well. I liked the fact that the room wasn't automatically cleaned daily. We could have asked for that but would have had to pay extra. I think daily cleaning is an unnecessary extravagance and find the Hotel's solution more environmentally friendly. It was certainly clean and tidy when we checked in. The breakfast menu was small but sufficient. The reception staff in particular were extremely helpful.

The ceiling fan in the room wasn't working. We were told that they were waiting for a spare part. Given we had an airconditioner in it, we didn't need the fan, though I would have preferred the fan to the airconditioner. We couldn't use the bedside lamps because they had the wrong power plugs for the wall sockets. We just used the overhrad light instead, also no big deal.

Our host was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms are clean, the pool is perfect and there’s even a cozy sitting area outside which rounded it all up well.

The WiFi could be a tad more stable and faster. The property is only easily reachable by taxi, since it’s a bit more in the outskirts of the town (but a taxi/ rental car is needed for everything anyways). When renting taxis: Negotiate the prices! $10 is not reasonable to go to the town/ boarder/ Victoria Falls ($4-5 is what we managed to negotiate sometimes, at least going to town/ VicFalls)
