New and fresh, large well-appointed rooms. Large shower and great hot water.

Lacking advisory signs for check-in parking, and no obvious reception signs/arrows. No direct steps to reception leaves reception office obscure. Rubbish bin skip covering entry arrow on driveway, hindering and obscuring access to underground parking area. No written confirmation of return of car parking key fob and room access keys. People like to know that they have a physical receipt of item being returned, and undamaged. The signed and dated paper receipt upon check-in is evidence for the Abode for dispensing the items-but this is not reciprocated for the guest upon check-out.

I arrived on the first day that the hotel was open so everything was new and fresh. There were still some finishing touches being applied but these were a minor in convenience. The room was spacious, quiet and had a pleasant outlook. It was great to be able to buy a meal from the pantry then heat and serve it in my room. Parking was easy to access and the location was only 5 minutes from the Canberra hospital. Pillows were much more comfortable than the huge ones at other Abode hotels where I have stayed. The somewhat high parking fee of $25 was compensated for by the very reasonable room rate.

It was not easy to spot reception from the road and you cannot access it directly but have to walk away from it and then double back. The air conditioning made a loud pulsing sound so I had to turn it off to sleep - I expect this is just a teething problem and in any case the room retained its heat throughout the night

Room was wonderful. Wasn’t noisy, even with us having a street from room. Cooking facilities would have been good had we the need for them.

Lack of parking facilities, we were travelling so had things in the back of our truck we were worried about. Apparently you need to book a spot which wasn’t clear. Also the trolley supposed to be in use for taking bags to rooms was terrible. Couldn’t use it in the end because the wheels were going in ever direction but the way we wanted. Have to say staff did not help with this at all.

Clean. Appliances! Everything you need.it is hard to find rooms in cbr that are functional and clean so I was very happy!

Parking was $25, but there is free parking 5 minutes away. I saw that they had parking but not at that cost so I was suprised and a bit dissapointed on arrival. It was very doable but a little inconvenient, and I wasnt sure how safe the area was for unattended vehicles.

The room was smallish but comfortable - even as a poor sleeper, I found the bed to be very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by how many 'extras' were provided - toaster, hotplate, washing machine etc which, had we stayed longer than a night, would have been put to good use.

The fragrance or cleaning agent used in the reception area was cloying and very prominent like cheap perfume. The room's air conditioning was very loud when it was in 'blow' mode, almost like a car idling in the room.

Location was great close to city center and facilities, room was beautiful and clean, bigger than expected, kitchenette was great and not expected, great stayn staff was lovely, would definitely stay at adobe again

View wasn't great as it was just of a random car driveway situation but not relevant to us as we stayed 1 night, internet/system wasnt working on arrival so we couldn't get card to room but this is no big deal and out of their control and staff managed it well and were accommodating and fixed shortly after

The staff was very friendly and informative, checking in and out process was smooth. The room was spotless when we entered. Everything you need is there.

There was limited street parking and because we were not familiar with the street, we could only find a drop off space to park and call the reception. We had to temporarily parked at their private parking while checking in and paied for an additional private car space (per day) since no street parking was available.

This room was extremely clean and modern. It had lovely furnishings and a huge floor to ceiling window. i loved the modern "do not disturb" signage system, the good quality kitchenware, the comfy bed, and the big shower head.

The room had everything I needed except for a pair of scissors! I could also hear people talking in the corridor very early in the morning but it wasn't obvious most of the time. Also, the TV did not have Netflix or screenshare options which would have been handy.

Clean room, spacious, modern looking. Good to have a fridge and tea and coffee making.

I would have liked more English breakfast tea bags. I couldn’t figure out the TV. I just wanted to watch normal TV. Great to have a shelf I. The bathroom but if you wear glasses the mirror is set far back when you put on your make up so it’s hard to see. Another mirror on the door of a cupboard ( where the iron is) would be handy.

Our stay was great value for money. All the room facilities were exceptional and very clean and brand new. Lovely and modern and had cooking facilities, big tv and comfortable bed.

This property is a bit out of city centre but it’s fine if you have a car and the bus station is a 5 minute walk. Parking needs to be booked in advance for a fee per night but there is overnight public car park near by which is cheap if you haven’t booked in advance.
