Great location, easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit. Phone signal was weak but the free wifi made up for it! Good water pressure in the shower and handy 2 way access to bathroom. Despite their age (I first stayed here 33 years ago!) they still look pretty smart and have been spruced up. Very quiet.

Nowhere to hang towels or swimming gear (although we did enjoy the pool). The sofa is pretty small but definitely better than what you get in most hotel rooms. The driveways are pretty rough with potholes and some pretty aggressive speed humps - careful if your car is a bit low like mine.

We spent 2 nights here in September 2023 booked via booking.com with the main purpose to visit the Floriade show in Canberra. After a long drive from Melbourne, we arrived after hours at 7.00PM. Check in was easy as instructions were communicated via text beforehand with code supplied for safe outside the reception door. We checked into Villa 204 on Southern Avenue and were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean unit. There was designated parking outside the main door which facilitated the unloading and loading of luggage. A second key was already provided for permanent insertion into the power supply docking bay. As night- time temperatures in Canberra can get quite low, portable electric heaters were provided. Additional full-length mirror outside of bathroom was a bonus. Stove top and utensils in the kitchenette came in handy for meals. Location was quiet and only 10 minutes by car to the city centre. All in all, a near perfect accommodation!

There was no adjustable shower head, but the fixed wall shower worked just as well. Only one small tube of shower/bath gel was provided each day. Pillows were rather soft and flat for our liking.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was tidy and clean as well. There is a small kitchenette, making it possible to cook and have breakfast. Parking is available close to each cabin and the outside gardens are well maintained. The cabins are older, but very clean and comfortable. We have stayed here many times and the staff are always very welcoming.

There is not a restaurant on site, but restaurants are local.

Very cosy and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful location. Easy and convenient car parking. Very clean and has everything we need. Close proximity by car to Kingston Foreshore and Canberra CBD. Love using the swimming pool on hot days. Lovely gardens. Great customer service by all the staff members.

Could use a lamp in the lounge room and one more in the bedroom. Could use one more sofa or armchair in the lounge room. The sofa was quite small for two adults. Otherwise all good.

Roomy, great location. Easy to find. Clean overall. Easy to get more linen. Kitchen was good. Staff very helpful. Would go back again.

Instructions for the heater as it was very old and unable to work out how to use it. Broom and dustpan would be good. Booklet with general Canberra information, food venues, restaurants close to accommodation, things to do etc would have been great. OH&S information too high as it was attached to the top of the microwave which couldn’t be move off to see.

It was cheaper than other options. The common outside areas (tennis court, BBQ, swimming pool) were potentially great. The unit was comfortable.

Both BBqs had run out of gas, the stovetop in the unit was dirty. We cleaned it! The staff in reception gave the impression that they would rather not work there. The bistro was closed.

Location of the motel was near the edge of Canberra, which was a bit nice to avoid all the crowds and noisy from various travelers. If you have a car this motel is just great! Plus you can do simple cooking and the villa facilities are enough.

Beds were a bit on the softer side otherwise everything was just spot on and comfortable.

It's been our 4th visit. It's self contained and spacious. Everything is clean. Fairly close to the city and hospital. Staff are very pleasant and if you run out of anything are anxious to help. A young part time American Receptionist from the Mid-West was exceptional in her help.

The beds could be softer. No towel racks in bathroom to hang towels. The bathroom air extractor didn't work. The solid elements in kitchen weren't hot enough to cook steak.

We arrived late so our key was waiting in locked box at reception. We had to provide car registration. Must have a car to get here, as site is 3km from Kingston shops via a very direct route and 5km from Parliament House This is Canberra long stay accommodation for lower paid workers so each unit stood alone, there were no noisy crowds, we were in a quiet corner. I enjoyed looking out window without people looking in. 3 heating units plus 1 split system air conditioner/heater

The location. Must have own transport for this location. Would be very difficuilt to stsy without vehicke as it ia a distamce from shops etc
