Location was really good, not too far out of town but also made you feel like the rest of the world was a million miles away. The buggy service to help get around the resort was great. Staff were lovely. Really liked the make your own juice option available at breakfast.

The things I didn’t like as much are completely personal preference and didn’t impact my overall view of the resort. I found the beds a little too firm, being pregnant, that wasn’t fun on the hips. I’m not a fan of streaky bacon that’s available at the buffet, would prefer middle style haha. And it took my partner and I a while to work out the air conditioner pad.

Elements is truly a spectacular resort. From the incredible pool (especially the lounge chairs hanging over the water- to which you can even have food and drinks brought to!), the convenience of the water and sunscreen stations by the pool, serene bungalows that feel like you are in the middle of a rainforest, to the great selection of food at the breakfast buffet and Azure Restaurant, morning yoga and live music on Friday nights. It’s located far enough from the centre of Byron to feel quiet and peaceful, but only a 10 min train ride to get to town. There are also many shops in the industrial complex 15 mins walk from the resort.

The pillows are not very comfortable- quite soft, so your head is not very well supported and caves in the centre. Had some aircon troubles with it turning off and on again throughout the night and so the room would get quite hot, but the staff was helpful.

The villa was beautiful & well equipped. The location in lush gardens by a pond stunning.

For the size of the hotel with the number of villas we felt that the restaurant choices were poor & not up to the standard of the location. We ate in one night and were seriously disappointed by the menu. We ate a quinoa salad, oysters, olives, chips, chicken & chorizo - nothing stunning. All very mediocre. We also had pizza take out in our room which was also very average. I can only presume the hotel isn’t worried about encouraging people to dine in as Byron is so close.

Setting was wonderful and beautifully maintained across the property. Staff were very friendly. The restaurant food was a mixed bag, the pasta dishes we ate were both underwhelming but the Pork Belly and Venison we had the second night were excellent. Good cocktails everywhere we went and enjoyed the wine list. The solar train was a fun way to get into BB. Was great to have own parking space for our villa. We enjoyed the toiletries.

We used the bath one night and it was not cleaned the next day, but other than that we couldn't actually fault the cleanliness of our room each day.

Pools and surrounding seating / day bed areas Cabins - although got lost Breakfast was amazing

Not enough food options to the room Restaurant expensive - drinks very expensive - would have had more if cheaper but only had 1 drink as not value More buggies to drive you around resort Not set up for single stayers _ everything was set up for family or couples Needed More lighting at night Needed carts to carry bags Needed cafe - proper coffee and light meals Needed shuttle to town Staff for service in restaurant often not getting orders right Bar fridge not automatically replenished Rooms very exposed could see in most cabins - lack of privacy

Great vibes for anyone, beautiful resort for the family, heaps of activities to keep busy, 1.5 hours drive from Surfers Paradise (Gold Coast) and 1 hour to the theme parks. Alot to do here.

Pool was sensational. The cabanas and deckchairs were plentiful, clean and comfy. Smorgasbord breakfast $46 was very good. The cabins were beautiful, comfortable and there was exceptional attention to details.

I didn't want to have a smorgasbord breakfast every day. Some mornings I just wanted some cereal and toast, or some eggs and toast but this wasn't available. We were sent to the Breeze Bar at the pool but there was only croissants and a few pre-prepared cereals in plastic cups available. Even some yoghurts would have been nice.

Incredible facilities. They truly thought about everything for couples, families, singles. The adults only pool area is amazing. They have an incredible spot for yoga classes every morning w ocean view. There’s a beach club with beds and a bar. The beach is pretty much a private beach and there’s a natural pool right outside the resort which is great for families with kids. It’s a hidden treasure this resort. We absolutely loved it!

I was very surprised the shower was not very clean and have some mould. So we had to ask housekeeping to clean it properly, but they still didn’t do a good job. Not sure if this was due to the high season but they should have pretty high standards anyway, particularly when it comes to cleanliness. The beds seem to be made in a rush. Also the sinks in the gym had mould built out around the drain.

Loved the feel of the resort and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Location is great..a quick uber or solar train into town Room service dinner was great. Fresh and hot! Great for families and couples I don't think anyone staying here will be disappointed

Everything was great... only one small thing of needing a razor kit and they didn't have any when we asked. Most hotels I've stayed at either have in the room or available when requested.

Loved the vicinity of the property, and enjoyed the Friday fire and live music. The food was great, and location was brilliant.

Live music could have been played later, once it hit 7.30pm and stopped, people all cleared out. Also loved the pool side restaurants, would have loved if the menu continued till 9 and offered families alternatives from just eating at the main restaurant. Also the pool was cold and was meant to be heated, could have done with being a bit warmer.
