We stayed in The Chapel at Clarendon Forest retreat and loved the whole ambience of the property. Loved the full sized spa in the bathroom. The property was clean and comfy and had everything we required (even a little step to help us get into the huge & comfy bed - so thoughtful). The peaceful and serene atmosphere is heavenly and thoroughly relaxing. This was our 2nd visit to Clarendon Forest (different accommodation to last time) and we fell in love with the place all over again. Thank you for having us.
The gravel road to the property made the car a bit (or a lot) dirty ;) LOL... and having to leave to go back home :(

Location was idyllic. We enjoyed all of the facilities that were obvious too us - tennis, badminton, spa, pool, walking on fire trails, cards and games, DVDs. The bed was great. 'loved the style of construction - raked timber ceilings, timber furnishings, tiled and marble flooring. 'also loved the distance between the villas - we felt like we were alone (but not isolated). Our dog had a great time. The selection of table games was good (however, see note below) - UNO, a clean pack of playing cards :-), puzzles, Cranium, Scrabble, Chess. Thanks also for the port and chocolate eggs.
Loved everything

The cottage was lovely and very private which we love. We will definitely be visiting again. It was everything we could have asked for.
It's not that we didn't like it but we felt the spa was filled too high and when we got in we were too worried to move as the water was rising almost over the edge of the spa and spill out onto the floor. One other thing was when you have a shower the water spills out past the "doors" of the shower.

Beautiful, peaceful location, very quiet & lovely mowed grounds The views over the property were amazing in sunset & sunrise The spa was an added luxury The stars were amazing at night & I understand why they called it The Sanctuary
Could have had some cereal for breakfast, which would have been wonderful

The location was gorgeous but with all the amenities to make it an enjoyable stay for the family. The view from the upper window was a wonderful way to start each day.
The sound from the main part of the house carried into the main bedroom at night but was understandable as it was an A-frame house.

If you want serenity, privacy and all the creature comforts look no further. Bring your own food and you're all set as the kitchen is very well appointed. Beautiful views across the valley from covered verandah. If you need to stay 'connected' wi-fi worked very well.
We stayed in the Chapel and only negative was the fact there was no WC on the same level as the bedroom. Not ideal for anyone that needs to use the facilities during the night as the bathroom was down two flights of stairs.

There was no breakfast but the cottage was lovely and full of character. The grounds were open and so peaceful, a great place to unwind and just relax. The resident cockaburras welcomed us and stayed on our table but didn’t turn up the following morning as we didn’t give them any treats the day before.
Not a complaint as my wife thought differently but the bed was a little too soft for me.

Exceptional is the only word to describe this property. The hideaway lived up to its name and was secluded in a perfect forest retreat. It is rare when a location exceeds the photos that have been posted online, this location and property did so on all levels. It was a privilege to be able to stay and we look forward to returning.
There is nothing negative I can say about this property. Both my wife and friends we stayed at the property at could not stop mentioning how perfect everything was. For me it was the return to nature and the solitude that I really appreciated. Even though there are a number of other properties at the location, the hideaway is literally set apart from the others. Fantastic Experience.

Great place for a quiet get away. The house was lovely and the outlook was beautiful
the drive in off the highway was a bit rough but the weather has been dreadful with lots of rain so that would be difficult to do anything about. It is worth the drive though

great spot, luxury accommodation, pets welcome
at most, pool area needs an upgrade, such a small plain area for such a delightful spot. also, it would be cool to know who the management is and location. I appreciate contactless life now but having a quick chat and learning a little more about the area and being able to ask questions would be that little more extra.
