Great location opposite the River and next door to a cafe and the local club. Freshly refurbished rooms and bathrooms were very nice. Pool and common facilities (BBQ and eating area) were by holidaying families.

- Sitting up in bed is awkward; there is no bed head, so you have to lean against the wall, but the paint is a rough texture so contact is unpleasant. Also, There is a lamp right where my head goes so, if you sit back, you’re likely to hit it. Please consider some sort of fabric bed head or something “kinder” to lean against while sitting up in bed.

Minor issue but a bedhead would’ve been good as the walls have a rough surface (pebble dash?), scraped my knuckles.

Great Location, clean, modern room , with great amenities for a traveller, with great touches such as makeup wipes and dedicated face washer. Large bottles of Shampoo/Conditioner and Bodywash that smelled devine . Biscuits for your cuppa and a kitchenette if you preferred to eat in . The Bed was so comfortable with a fan and air conditioning , but you could have a window that opened if you preferred. the Bbq area had 2 large BBQ and great long wooden tables suitable for large groups and a lovely pool . great cafe/bar/restaurant next door and bowling club a 2 min walk definitely will stay again

Check in was super easy. Staff were very helpful and upbeat. Room was very clean, comfortable and well furnished with lots of thoughtful touches. The overhead fan complemented the air conditioning, whch was surprisingingly quiet. The room itself was also extremely quiet due to the thick masomry walls between the rooms. We didn't hear any other guests or noise at all. I has expected some noise, as the motel was fully booked.Beds were very comfortable, so I slept well. Overall, we were both very impressed

Fabulous location across the road from the river and next door to cafes and bowling club. Short walk to the main set of shops and to the beach. Room kitchenette was well equipped, bathroom was modern and very clean. Love the extra touches- face washer for makeup removal! Communication with the motel managers was efficient and easy. We have stayed here a few times before and will certainly return when visiting family in the area.

The decor was modern and the bathroom felt like it had been recently redone with that new feel to it.

Before check out time someone tried getting into our room to clean it while we were getting dressed. If we didn’t have the other locks on the door locked, whoever had the extra key would have invaded our privacy.

Loved the location, the cleanliness and newly renovated bathroom. It's close to the restaurants and cafes of North Haven.

Sadly you can hear the air-conditioning units from neighbouring rooms or something behind the motel building. This was in room 13. Light sleepers will definitely be kept awake by the noise. It is minor, but there wasn't a bath towel provided. Just a bath mat, two face towels and hand towel. The hand towel did suffice. It was too late in the day to ask for one.

Great size room for a one night stay, little kitchenette with coffee/tea, microwave, plates+utensils. New looking bathroom, very nice. Comfy bed and a variety of pillows to choose from! Great location, short walk to the beach or across from the inlet. Great cafe next door and close to the RSL. We were in the area for a wedding so perfect for a short stay. We arrived late morning and asked if it was ok to leave the car there and check in when ready but they said we could check in straight away! Would stay here again.

Minimal bench space in bathroom which was only annoying as I had to put on make up/straighten hair for a wedding but made it work. Not a huge deal for a short stay.

The room was very impressive. Spacious for our family and recently renovated and very nice. The beds could do with a modern doona but other than that the rooms were exceptionally nice. We were arriving late (after 8pm) so I messaged the motel and they left the key in the door for us.

When I was checking out I handed the room key in. Before I left the reception room, with my back turned to the staff, I heard what sounded like glen 20 can being sprayed I assume on the room key. I could be wrong by what I heard but it left me feeling upset all day. I understand Covid is a problem these days, and if the above is what actually happened, I would like to think for future travellers that the spraying happens once they leave reception so they don’t feel like I did.

Woongarra appeared to be a recently renovated, "old style" motel. The room was spacious and clean. Parking was outside the room. The motel is in a very pretty area across from the waterway, which has a great walking path alongside the waters edge. There are plenty of places to eat very close. We were impressed with everything that the place had to offer. Highly recommended!
