I’ve stayed there once before so going back was the obvious choice. Staff on greeting is friendly & engaging & she remembered me from 2 years ago it & recalled it was a stop over on the way to my daughter’s wedding. Felt like a catch up with an interested old friend . It’s very clean & spacious a balcony with a view to the ocean a pool free insight parking . Fresh milk if required.To top it off I was happily surprised to find face washers with the other towelling. It appears it’s not a common practice elsewhere anymore.

I can’t find fault

Our four-day stay at the Port Aloha Motel was enjoyable. The staff were welcoming, and the check-in process was quick and effortless. Situated conveniently close to the CBD, the motel's location is perfect for those seeking affordable accommodation. We stayed in Room 3 on the ground floor, which was clean and well-equipped with amenities like a fridge, microwave, and cutlery. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had nice pressure. Additionally, the motel offers free, high-speed Wi-Fi. Overall, Port Aloha Motel provides a comfortable stay at a great value.

The room was old style but in excellent condition with a roomy fridge. Bed was good and we really couldn't fault anything other than items below.

1. The slope on the parking space outside our unit caused a minor challenge - we are 75 & 81 years old, but little could be done about that! 2. We both use CPAP units and only one double power point on the wall behind the bed necessitated pulling the bed away, mounting a power board (we always carry one) and running a cable behind the bed. Bedside tables were small, and the CPAP units took all the space, leaving nothing for anything else.

Location was fantastic, short walk into town and far enough away to be really quiet and free onsite parking. Our room was quite large with a little kitchenette with a small fridge which was very useful and a balcony. I requested for our room to be serviced during our 7 night stay and the staff were really friendly and nothing was a problem.

The mattresses were very hard compared to what we are used to, which happens in lots of accommodation.

On our late arrival, entry went well. The room was clean and well heated, the beds were comfortable. parking was provided. Our needs for utensils, dinner set and salt and pepper etc. were anticipated and provided. The bathroom was small but in great condition and clean. Foxtel was provided. We had a good stay.

The property was not new but it was kept in very good order and was very suitable for our stay. One more chair for the table would be good. For some reason the TV was not connecting to service in the morning, but we were leaving anyway.

The location is great we use Port as a stop over to break the driving. We love the central location you can walk everywhere, always stay if it's available. Very accommodating manager/ owner she was very helpful with helping us park our caravan. Will always stay here when we pass through.

We could have done with an extra mirror in our room maybe in the bedroom area apart from that our room was lovely newly renovated and very clean.

The lady " Connie" that runs the Motel is an excellent host and runs a fantastic business. Connie made us welcome and was very friendly, she offered us advise on places to visit during our short stay. The accommodation offered us everything we needed, we felt very safe. There is also a laundry facility on the premises.

There was nothing that we dudnt like.

This Motel exceeded my expectations. It was very clean, tidy, a good shower which is VERY important! A small kitchenette which was handy to prepare an easy meal. Well worth the money and not far from Sydney. The accomodation in Sydney was twice the price and impersonal.

Nothing really it suited our needs very well.

Clean with a modern updated bathroom and a lovely balcony. Very well equipped (even a wine opener) and bathroom amenities. Spacious room. Very central, 5 minute walk to lovely eateries, information and the river. Too cold in June, but the swimming pool looked amazing for a December break. Free parking a bonus! Will definitely stay over again!

The room was very clean and comfortable. TV was good with the option of free on demand movies. Location is good with most things easy to walk to. Will definitely stay there again next time I’m passing through. Good value.

The only thing I could criticise was the alarm clock. It was old and had broken bits missing. Easily replaceable.
