Position

It’s now just on two weeks since I checked out and I still haven’t had my security deposit $199 refunded? I have tried to call them many times but usually it just rings out . I have managed to speak to someone twice and got nothing . Not happy

I found my stay wonderful: Very central (a 2-minute walk from Chinatown train station) with many restaurants, bars, and shopping options. Clean and spacious room with a balcony, great shower. The amenities were good for cooking something quick, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If I travel to Sydney again, I will definitely stay there again. Thank you for the lovely week.

The only downside (which doesn't bother me personally) is the proximity to the main road and therefore to traffic and bars. If you leave the balcony door open, it is quite loud. However, I was still able to sleep wonderfully :)

Kitchen & laundry facilities in the room made my week stay easier as I didn't need to over pack or find a laundromat. Front desk staff were always happy to assist and acknowledged me as I went to & from the lobby. Coles is located across the street, and Darling Harbour is just a 5 minute walk away. Gym facilities was also a factor in my decision to book here.

I felt the cost of overnight parking was costly on top of accommodation costs. Most city accommodation will validate for a cheaper overnight fee.

The location was great and made it very easy to travel through the city. Easy checking in and out, staff were quite friendly. The facilities of the room were very convenient and easy to use, it was very convenient having a fridge and mini laundry. Having access to fast WIFI was very nice. The room was also very spacious!

The bathroom wasn’t completely clean, there were hairs from previous guests on the toilet. Not a massive issue but the TV’s were quite old and only had free to air channels, and the radio on the TV would be blasting each time we got back after a day out even though we displayed ‘Do Not Disturb’ on the door - not sure if this was room service or a weird TV function.

The location is fantastic! Come out of the hotel, and within 2 minutes, you are inside World Square or at the Chinatown Tram stop. The room was very spacious and had excellent cooking facilities. The bed was comfortable, and the WiFi worked well. There were 2 TVs in the room, one by the bed, which has normal satellite channels and another in the living space with smart apps available for you to log in to, such as Netflix. The room was cleaned 2-3 times a week, including linen changes.

I think the apartment could have had more plug sockets near the bed so I could use the lamp and an international adapter for overseas travel, as the sockets were close together. However, this is not a significant issue.

The rooms was spacious and had a nice balcony. A washing machine and drier were provided (along with laundry powder sachets) inside the bathroom which was very convenient. It was pretty much a reasonably good room. The kitchen had all reasonable appliances, but could have added few more utensils. It's located city center so convenient stores, restaurants and central station is all walkable distance. Luggage storage is available in case you arrive early that the check in time and the staff were cooperative.

The main entrance is thru a narrow lobby and the waiting area is very small, so you may not have the option to wait or relax at lobby in case of early arrival. The kitchen could have had some utensils, It had all required appliances though needed some good cleaning before use. Wish staff were better trained for local tourist information.

Location was fantastic, very central to everything we needed. The rooms were very clean and the bed very comfortable with kitchen facilities and comfy lounge furniture.

A bit more cutlery especially spoons and also at least 1 saucepan and a dish for use in the oven / microwave so we could make use of the cooking facilities as planned - only 1 frypan provided to cook with! We had booked here to be able to prepare some meals which proved impossible due to noting being available to cook in, which was disappointing and was part of the reason we paid extra money for our accommodation. But over than that it was great.

The location was great. My apartment exceeded my expectations. Clean, well equipped and perfect for my needs. I chose the limited housekeeping as I was there on my own and honestly there was nothing I needed in 6 days but everything was replenished on the 4th day anyway. Strong WiFi which was important as I was on a business trip. Reception staff were very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

No smart TV. Kind of expect a smart TV these days! It's not really a big deal but I'd ask for a room with one next time. Certainly not a deal breaker though.

Easy check in and check out, pre paying for the rooms rather than paying when we arrive. The place was clean and tidy, I liked that they came during the week to clean. The rubbish chute was an excellent idea. The situation of the motel was good, not too far from Darling Harbour or the light rail. Staff from reception to cleaners were very polite and quick to respond to requests. We will definitely stay again.

We weren't sure where we had to put recycled items, so left them in the rubbish room. Not having mattress protectors on the bed was a bit strange as most hotels do, but it was fine. No bin liners in the bins having an extra one in the bin would have been great, the kitchen bin needed to be washed it smelt and was dirty when we took the rubbish out seemed like it hadn't been cleaned after a previous stay. Extra toilet roll in the bathrooms would have been good, too. Otherwise we were very happy with the room and our stay.

Location and room amenities are really good. Room was clean and tidy. Room size is quite big and you do not feel claustrophobic.

They need to have real king size beds. Two singles next to each other don't make a king as you can't sleep in the middle. TV channels need to be much better. They should keep Fox Tel and charge us extra for it. Allow early check-in for guests who don't have a choice when their flights come early and rooms are available. They should not request to charge extra because they do not give any rebate when we check out early.
