location in a very cool area, where there are cool cafes and various stylish clothing stores) 3 shops for spiritual practices, a hostel with creative young people on the same street, in general, I advise you to visit for a couple of days + there are lockers in the rooms for valuables

the rooms are a little dirty, but I lived in 2 rooms, one of them was clean, it seems to me that you need to look at all the rooms to move in, because different people come across

I like that the room is spacious for 4 of us. They also changed the towels on our 2nd day of stay which was appreciated.

The toilet needs a little bit of thorough cleaning as there were molds in the sink and shower although I'm not really fuzzy. Also, we saw one small cockroach in the toilet the first time we entered the room and the second one near the fridge on our second morning but it's fine. 😀

Every day the staff clean all rooms and the kitchen, there are always someone to help you in the reception, everyone are kind and attentive. Train station is close, you have many restorant, supermarket and whatever you need close to the hostel

Everything is perfect

Although we didn't get the original rooms we booked (with ensuites) we were accommodated in a terrace house with shared facilities that was an exceptional and unique stay. It is a backpackers, and we did stay there as a group/family, and there was no issues. The vibe was great. Staff was very helpful despite having problems with our original booking due to maintenance they looked after us well and we got a great deal.

No air-con and it was a 40 degree celcius day. Pool was a bit murky and didn't use it.

- There was no bar fridge to store food/drinks. - Not much crockery for 4/5 people there was only 2 cups and 2 tea spoons. - There wasnt any parking which was quite an issue with availability on street parking especially it being the weekend.

Very nice room with private bathroom, spacious common spaces, large kitchen, pool in the center of the building. Very friendly staff with excellent disposition. The neighborhood with a lot of life, restaurants, food from all over the world. Very good location 20 minutes by train or bus from the Opera and the ferries. I'm going back.

Great location , very clean , great staff team. Specially Natalia who went over and beyond to assist me during my stay.

We had prebooked an Air BNB on King st. When we arrived the key to the property was not in place. The lack of help and communication with getting it sorted was extremely distressing. We were told to find alternative accommodation at 11pm in the rain. We found Summer House and walked with all our luggage. We were greeted by a really friendly and helpful person. They not only had a room, they placed us on the ground floor after informing them I could not go up and down stairs. The room was comfortable, clean and warm. The following morning we still had not heard from our other booking as they had promised to do by 8am. Again, the Summer House staff bent over backwards to accommodate us. When leaving I was assisted with Uber app and booking an Uber. WOW! What an incredibly positive experience. Highly recommend this place.

This place perfectly suited our needs & we were safe & secure. The share bathroom on our block was a little difficult at times if someone needed the toilet, but couldn't go because someone else was in the shower. Absolutely no complaints from us.
