We attended a concert near the botanical gardens which finished late. It was 10-15min walk back to the hotel, very conveniently located on Pitt st. Walking distance to Ezymart, plenty of bars and restaurants, Pitt st mall and Martin Place and George st for train and light rail. The room is on the smaller side, clean and cosy. Bed was comfortable with a choice of two pillows. Room service with a great variety food. Breakfast was included: cereal, bakery and hot breakfast. Overall, we were happy with our stay. I would recommend it for its easy check in/out, friendly staff and most importantly, the beds.

I love my full buffet breakfast. I love to wonder through to see what variety hotels have.The Tank Stream has your basic needs for a full stomach, perfect for the get up and go. For me I wasn’t too satisfied.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very kind and always ready to assist. The location of the hotel is perfect, at a few steps from the main commercial streets of the city center, e.g. St. George Street, and at a walking distance from the Circular Quay and the Opera House.

Breakfast service is very slow. The menu is rich, but you should have breakfast very early in the morning if you really like to get fresh and tasteful bacon and eggs. But, above all, the true problem is to get a good cup of coffee! It is a venture, that in many cases can take about half an hour! You have to make a long queue and very often, at the end, you discover that the coffee machine is not working well .... without considering that the low quality of the coffee. It is a pity, because all the rest in the Hotel is quite perfect!

The hotel's location is just 6mins from my company in CBD. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. Love the breakfast, not too many choice but you could find all needs for a good breakfast.

Only the bars downstairs that opposite the road was opened until around 10.30pm on a Thursday night. The music is pretty loud. And I fortunately stayed in a room just at that side. Good thing is before 11.00pm all music stopped. But if you like some drinks at night, it would be so handy. I travel for business so need sleep earlier that night.

Centrally located, easy to check in/check out, friendly enough staff, room small but was expected as room size is listed on Booking.com, appreciated only having to travel on the elevator to the restaurant, personal choice, but the beds were very comfortable and we found our room quiet. Others have spoken about the noisy pipes but for us this was a non-issue. Will definitely stay for 1 – 2 nights again in the near future.

Small issue with being overcharged for minibar due to non-replenishment after previous Guest. Staff and management attended to my complaint swiftly and professionally. Can’t ask for more than that.

Location was key for our choice. Easy train ride from airport to Wynyard and walk to hotel, easy to walk to key sights and activities. Rather small room, quiet to atrium, good air quality, cozy and warm (winter).

The buffet breakfast was quite plentiful and good. The location of the hotel was very convenient to the Circular Quay. Easy walking to the Opera House, Sydney Bridge, The Rocks area, all the transportation including the ferries. The tram was 1 block away and inexpensive. Tap a credit card on and off so that was easy.

We were there on a long holiday weekend and the information we were given didn't make it clear that the restaurant would be closed all weekend. Buffet breakfast was served daily but we had to search out other food. Many of the restaurants were closed. The ones on the Wharf were open.

Good location being a short walk to Circular Quay. We stayed here for 2 nights over the long weekend so we could attend Vivid. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The room was quiet with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. A good breakfast was provided with some hot choices accompanied by cereals, fruit and pastries.

As it was a busy weekend, it was difficult to obtain a table in the main section of the breakfast room, however the staff opened up another room and we were able to eat in there. The coffee machine also was empty on one morning and it took some time for it to be refilled by staff.

Check in time is 3pm, we got there before 10am and our room was available. Had it not been, there is the option to leave your luggage at reception. Quiet hotel, modern, clean comfortable room, great location. for the surrounding sights. Tea & coffee, mini bar, safe, ironing board in the room. Would definitely consider staying there again.

Easter weekend public holiday surcharges of 10 - 15% and debit card payment surcharges on everything when out can really burn a hole in your pocket.

The room was compact, but not small. The location was fantastic, a short 7-8 minute casual walk to the opera house and a little longer of maybe 20 minute pleasant walk to the tourist "centre". The room was quiet, comfortable and with aircon. There were even some free movies included on the TV which were pretty fresh out of the cinema (barbie for example). The staff were friendly and the rooms cleaned daily as you would expect.

I'm nitpicking here, but the curtains closed 90% across the window, allowing a small amount of light in on both sides. It really wasn't too bad but it's always nice to have full black out curtains. Overall I really have nothing to complain about, but just sharing a nitpick as being asked.

The hotel is well appointed and tastefully decorated. Position was great. Short walk to Circular Quay and The Rocks. Breakfast included was fabulous at the "Le Petit Flot Restaurant" on level 2. Staff were VERY ATTENTIVE, polite, and ready to help with any requests. Rooms were very clean. Bathrooms are very clean also! Love the free movies they include on the TV Housekeeping is very good each day. Pillows are great!! Great quality tea and coffee in the room provided and restocked daily. Thoughtful staff who gave us 2 small bottles of wine as an extra for our anniversary!! Thank 6 appreciated that!

Rooms are a bit small. We were in each other's way regularly! This means you have to sit on the bed as there is minimal room and only 1 chair...which only just fits in the space when pulled out! I would like an " opening" window, rooms get stuffy, or cold because of using the A/C all the time, which was difficult to get "just right!!!" Mattress needs upgrading as it's starting to sag when sat on.
