This was a great choice for us after a Kimberley tour... we wanted a quiet apartment with washing machine to prepare for a trip down the east coast. It had everything we needed and the reception staff were exceptional in helping to meet our needs... very friendly too. The sunset from our balcony was superb and a real bonus... Would highly recommend H on Mitchell, and if back in Darwin would use again... excellent!

It's on the edge of the CBD, but handy for a stroll into town or to Mindil Beach...

Lovely apartment with separate bedroom and small balcony. We booked this because it had a washing machine to use after our Kimberley tour, as well as a small pool and well equipped gym. The reception staff were brilliant... Balcony was west-facing without great views except when the sun went down... amazing sunsets, as good as Mindil beach! Well equipped kitchen, and very quiet... handy bar and restaurant on the ground floor.

It was a little out of the main town, which meant a 10-15 minute walk to the main shopping area and tour pick-up points.

Location and the rooms are always nice

The receptionist. She was very rude. I was so disappointed because I have stayed 4 times in the hotel and always the staff is lovely. Last Sunday I stayed there too and was not charged for the parking. The woman that was at the reception there yesterday afternoon (30 th July) in a bad mood. Got angry when I told her that I have never been charged for the parking, which is something I really liked but she did not like that at all!. Why that made her angry is beyond me. Very poor customer service. Rude and unpleasant woman.

Travelling as a family group. (We were in Darwin for the under 15 hockey carnival.) Had rooms 1207 & 1206👍 This made is very easy for catching up with each other for meals, looking after youngest grandchild. etc . The young ones were able to catch up with other WA families staying at your appartments, for meals and made great use of the pool area. The layout of the apartment exceeded our expectations. There were 3 of us in the apartment my self and husband. Plus my brother-in-law having individual ensuites was a plus. Our early morning coffees were spent on the balcony watching Darwin come to life

The lift. That is a phobia of mine but I survived😊

Our apartment, which was upgraded free of charge, to a two bed was beautiful. It had two big bedrooms, two full sized bathrooms and a kitchen with everything you could ever need. Also had a washing machine which was a massive bonus. Amazing location, Parkrun was less than a mile away, two supermarkets within a mile and the waterfront within two. We had a great stay and would recommend. We also made use of the pool which was lovely and refreshing.

The room was clean, comfortable - well equipped. I had a dreadful experience with accommodation I had previously booked, through Booking.com at Parap. When I arrived at that unit in Parap, I despaired as I knew it was too unclean for me to stay in. Fortunately, I found H on Mitchell and caught an Uber to this delightful location.

I found the noise in the restaurant too much for an old bird like me. But it is a sports bar, so it is what it is.

The staff are outstanding, special mention to Jimmy who went above and beyond to make our stay awesome. A all round nice guy. Thanks Jimmy. The location is perfect, in town, close to the bar strip, however, far enough away from the noisier venues to be peaceful when you choose to stagger away from a night out. The layout of both the one bedroom and two bedroom is really good. The two bedroom has triple access to the good sized balcony - sliders from both bedrooms and the living area. I am so happy to have chosen H on Mitchell. We will return. I think it will be like returning home.

Look, I do Commercial QA for a living. I don't work on holiday. In my experience, even with high Spec homes, the more you look, the more you find. This place is great.

Clean and comfortable

Sink in bathroom needs replaced. Severely cracked hand basin. Not getting food and drink requested. Mug instead of a cup, bacon and egg instead of just bacon !! Last time a few days prior steak without sauce supplied with sauce plastered all over steak. Server not bothering to check I had cutlery for my food. I do understand I should have grabbed them while I was at the cashier. But still it’s a lack of care.

We loved the apartment, it was roomy and very comfortable. The balcony was big and we spent most of our time there. It was very clean and well maintained throughout our stay and the staff were all extremely nice and friendly. The restaurant and bar downstairs was fantastic great food and again amazing staff that were welcoming and friendly.

Nothing it was perfect exactly what we wanted.

How clean it was, the kitchenette had everything you would need, no toaster but that's probably to avoid fire sprinkler events.Included a dishwasher and a multi use microwave with grill. Very comfortable bed and pillows. New style bathroom. The room was compact but I did expect that. Aircon and fan. Friendly, helpful staff.

A minor thing but the decor is a bit bland, dark grey carpets. Light grey and white. The gritty non slip tiles in the shower that felt like wet sand.
