Zada and Dragi made me feel so welcome as soon as I walked in the door. Seeing bright smiles after a long drive was lovely. Nothing was too much for them, and when they discovered that it was my birthday they even got me a cake. Dragi cooks a delicious breakfast every morning and serves it on the verandah. The view from that verandah is glorious. My room is lovely. And purple themed, my favourite. I have my own balcony from where I sat and watched the rain, the birds, and the magnificent surrounding trees. The sound of cicadas and birds drown out the passing traffic. A few cheeky Kookaburras eye off your breakfast, some of them getting game enough to try to pinch the bacon. I came away for a weekend of peace, and that is exactly what I got.

Having to go home again

The room was very comfortable and sitting on the balcony, enjoying the views and the birds who come up to the balcony was really enjoyable. The spa bath was very relaxing and the breakfast each morning was delicious!! Hosts were absolutely beautiful people and always checking everything was OK for us. Even when we were hit hard with the storm on Christmas night and lost power that evening, they made a beautiful breakfast for my partner and I the next morning, very great full! We will definitely be back!

Sometimes we could hear the people staying in the room above us walking around, only due to the building being an older building with wooden frame etc. But didn't interrupt our stay whatsoever, just something that a light sleeper may notice if upstairs are moving around early morning or late evening.

The property is nestled amongst the trees and looks out over the mountain, sensational views with lovely birds, plants and even a neighbourhood black cat to keep you company. The staff are the most friendly people, and were very accomodating. I was surprised that I didn’t hear a sound from anyone while in our room, but was very pleased. The spa bath was much better than the last place we stayed.

Not much, everything was perfect.

Beautiful location, amazing views from the balcony and the owners are incredible. Spa water is a little yellow but that’s normal and natural due to the type of water supply and it’s safe. Views from the spa are wonderful and it’s completely private. Amazing breakfast and very comfortable bed.

We liked everything about the property. The greenery, the private balcony, the spa, and the view was amazing. The breakfast was lit, 5/5. The hosts were kind and welcoming. We had such a beautiful and peaceful stay. Thank you!

Absolutely loved staying here. The room was perfect just for me and omg the spa I could lay in for hours on end. Every morning I had the absolute best breakfast you could imagine with the most beautiful, peaceful view that really made me feel relaxed from the moment I woke up. The owners are two of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure of meeting and they really went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I honestly can't recommend staying here highly enough. To anyone else staying here....definitely definitely do not miss out on the brekky!!!!

Honestly there isn't one thing I can think of besides the fact I had to get back to my normal every day life. I didn't want to leave!!!!

The entire experience was excellent. The host Drago was very friendly, polite and helpful. The room had everything. The deck afforded a great view. The wildlife was tame. The breakfast was excellent and served with care. And the host's cat was adorable.

Everything was perfect.

The ever-changing views of the range down to Brisbane city are gorgeous. The room was lovely with a little private balcony, the spa was luxurious. Dragi and Zaga are the most gracious and kind hosts. I am so grateful to have been able to stay with them.

Our host was very accommodating and was prepared to go the extra mile for her guests. We particularly liked having a coffee machine in our room and our host was only too happy to supply us with stronger pods than were in the room originally. A very special touch was the bottle of wine that she gave my husband for his birthday. Nothing was too much trouble.

Perhaps having glass panels on the spa bath would help to stop water coming out onto the floor particularly at the top end of the bath near the toilet in our room. The side near the windows may benefit also but if there was a guard at the top end then the shower head could be turned that way and the side one may not be necessary.

Hosts were so lovely, and homemade breakfast was great. The location was beautiful, with plenty of birds surrounding the property even coming for a feed on the balcony. Spa was the perfect size for two, and the view made it so relaxing.
