The room was lovely and very clean! They even put a happy birthday banner up for my sister as a surprise which was a lovely touch! The pool was clean and well maintained and the room was quiet and had lots of nice amenities.

The location was great for the beach but as it was off the main road and there were major roadworks happening at the time of our visit traffic was a little rubbish, but didn’t affect our stay in the actual hotel at all and reception were apologetic even though it wasn’t their fault. The washer dryer facilities were a bit old but they did the job and was handy to have them!

We had been wanting to stay here for a while. We found that the property has been well renovated. Clean and modern. Pool area is really lovely. Rooms were well proportioned, neat & tidy, and modern with good amenities. There are some fabulous places to eat and get coffee just a short stroll away e.g. Ally Chow and Moustache, and of course it's close proximity to the beach.

We had an issue with the bathroom sink not draining. It was really slow the first day, but on the second it didn't drain at all which was horrible. As we were checking out that day, we left it, but did mention it to the on-site manager who didn't seem phased by it at all, which I didn't feel was appropriate, but it is what it is.

Room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. No "closed in" ambiance which many motel rooms offer. Lots of natural light and a feeling of freshness.

The only thing that prevents me from giving an excellent rating in all categories is that the blinds that are used to shut off the light entering at the entrance to the room are somewhat "see through"; hence, one's privacy is compromised. This is quite a serious matter for me and, I suspect, others as well. Once can observe you sleeping and all activities at a glance It is the only reason that I'd probably not return in the future. Needs to be addressed.

Everything - room 4 faced the pool, was dark and quiet when everything was off/closed up, brilliant - fan, air con, the cleanliness was outstanding, the decor inside and out is so fresh and super-crisp-beachy, the location, communication, staff, price and off street PARKING (!!) are all excellent as was the bed, ‘just right’ as Goldilocks said - will def stay again when on the GC!

There’s nothing - the works on the GC Highway couldn’t be heard, besides the odd mechanical hum or crunch every now and again, we’ve lived in Diamond Sands where the ‘normal’ noise of the traffic was louder 😆

We've stayed at this motel previously and came back as we liked it last time. Everything is really well cleaned and maintained. The rooms and beds are comfortable and surprisingly quiet. We didn't actually speak to any staff this time around as we checked in late and out early, but they made sure we had keys and instructions to access them easily. The free parking on site is a major plus.

Nothing really - I commented that our stay was expensive but indicative of the area last time, it was much cheaper this time round (by about $60/night, and my parents who stayed at the same motel last time but had booked later than us paid a lot more than that). Not a huge fan of the fluctuating prices for the same rooms and service as it feels a little price gougey, but I guess when you have a small motel you need to capitalize on your busier periods.

Blue Heron Boutique Motel is an updated, spotlessly clean and comfortable motel. It was perfect for a 1 night stay with my daughter-in-law and baby granddaughter. Great pool area. Free parking. Our room towards the back was free of traffic noise. I liked that a microwave is provided in the rooms with cutlery and crockery too and also water bottles in the fridge. Spacious wardrobe, modern bathroom and really comfortable beds. Nice little Chinese Restaurant within a 5 minute walk and also the beach in the same time.

Not a single negative to this Motel.

Modern decor, very clean and comfortable. Had nice teabags (not the usual cheap varieties), plus complimentary bottled water and mints, and some cookies. We had arrived off an overnight flight, so the manager very kindly granted our request to check in early which we appreciated very much. Lovely staff and good value for money. The location is great, so close to the beach, and a short walk to a good Thai restaurant.

The road works outside. The tram extension roadworks go all night until 5am, and even though we were provided with earplugs, there were a couple of hours in the middle of the night that I couldn't sleep due to the noise. This obviously won't go on forever, so in future I would be happy to stay at this motel again.

Really clean and big room, friendly staff, location is close to beach and Uber away from main town and Burleigh Good air con Nice pool and decor, has clearly been recently renovated Good for a few nights

I did have one cockroach appear in the bathroom, although the staff were super attentive, answered my call super late at night and removed it for me, but told this is common in Australia Also other downside is the shower hose is fixed like showers in swimming pools, you can’t unhook the shower head hose but shower caps are provided

Everything about my stay was essentially perfect. The location is quieter than Broadbeach or Surfers but only a cheap Uber (or 40min walk to Broadbeach) and you are amongst everything. Very comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower. I didn't use the pool as it was a bit on the cooler side but it and the surrounding area has a great fee. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. All that for much less than so many of the pretentious hotels on the Gold Coast. You may not have a water view but every morning I walked the few short blocks to the beach so who cares!?

There was literally nothing I didn't like.

The property is not new but has been refurbished to a high standard recently. It is located three blocks from the beach and on the Gold Coast Highway, so is convenient for travelers or work as well as for holidays. Despite the nearness of the highway there was little road noise in the room. I didn't use the pool, but it was conveniently located in a courtyard in the centre of the motel buildings and was well landscaped and appeared clean. It was also excellent value for money.
