Spacious room, good size balcony, sea was visible from the balcony, rooms was well equipped, good water pressure ans temperature, Beds were comfortable, lifts were quick, pool was large, plenty of sun loungers, hot tub was nice, two rainbow lorikeets visited one morning, beach is only a short walk.

Rooms were a bit dated but reasonable, pillows were too thick for me, there were a few small roaches in the kitchen area, the local area is somewhat lacking restaurants etc.

The pool was fabulous and a definite asset as it was too windy to swim at the beach. The whole place was always clean and tidy. The elevators worked efficiently. A room was cleaned by the ladies very well. The little fridge and kettle toaster etc. All worked well in our room. Location was one of the best things about this property. We could catch the bus to wet and wild. We could catch the bus to SeaWorld. We could catch the tram into Surfers Paradise. We were also in walking distance to other properties where we were picked up for day adventures such as going up to Springbrook , scuba-diving, natural arch etc All the brochures and advertising in the foyer of this property also helped us to organise our holiday. Very conveniently. The staff for lovely and as helpful as they could be friendly and polite.

It would have been nice if we could have had clean towels a little more often. We got clean towels changed once at the end of our first week there. Which was after seven days. If we asked for towels before then we had to pay for it. But maybe we are being a little picky about this.

The room was spacious with a excellently comfortable queen size bed in its own closed off area. The lounge room and kitchen seemed somewhat Spartan but good enough for a single persons needs. Unfortunately the renovations next door was quite loud and at times made it hard to sleep or watch a movie.

While the rooms were supposed to be done every Monday, it wasn't till the 3rd Monday of my stay that it was done and I believe that only happened after I enquired about when it was supposed to have been done. I noticed that at times the garbage Shute seemed to be backed up with rubbish which stunk.

Ground floor access convenient and we enjoyed the spaciousness of room. We were happy with the layout of the room and all the conveniences available to us with the unit.

Our stay was 4 days so we didn't qualify for a room service to replace towels and maybe quick vacuum and bathroom clean. Haven't come across paying for clean towels before so that was something new. We understand that bathroom is designed for wheelchair access but could do with an upgrade, as vanity and shower area a bit dated. Also, limited car parking available

Tidy and comfortable, great location. Relatively quiet, until the last night.

Room was tidy and functional. The "kitchen" was a microwave and kettle in a part of the wardrobe. The description could have been better. The bathroom was modern but not well maintained. One of the taps on the vanity was not working properly. It had been "fixed" previously but in a very slapdash method. Odd layout to the two rooms in our part of the building. The television worked during the day for all six days we were there, but only worked in the evenings and night for three of the nights we were there. Staff did appear to try and fix it, but the fix only lasted a couple of nights.

Lovely big room with modern, nice looking furniture. We were very pleasantly surprised with the size, style and facilities in the room. Good value for money. Loved the addition of a single bed in the main living area. So much better than a fold out sofa and more comfortable for the 3rd guest.

The only thing I could really fault were the pillows. They were so hard and horrible and actually gave me a terrible headache. All the pillows in the room were the same so I couldn't swap it for a better one. The bed itself was very comfortable though. The jets in the Spa for the hotel were also a little weird. They blow straight up, so you just sit there and get water all over your face and head. We preferred not to use them, however if other guests turned them on we either had to position ourselves to cover the jets, or we got out.

Pool was great but does get shaded in the afternoon. I liked the vending machines for snacks or alcohol especially as the restaurant was not to our taste and the convenience store was a wee walk. We arrived in the dark and we didn't know where to go that was close by. Our two single beds were comfy. Room was clean and we had basic facilities to make cup of tea and toast plus a microwave all crammed into the wardrobe. Had hair dryer and an Iron and ironing board. Not very spacious but it was ok for short stay. Short walk to the bus stop or Tram

Our room had a view of the neighboring hotel's loading bay so that was entertaining, and not too noisy. A balcony would of been nice but the price we paid was reflective of that. We were only there 3 nights so it wasn't really a problem. A banging noise during the night like neighbor closing their door but they would not of done that every five minutes.

From the moment I arrived at Sovereign, I knew I was in for a treat. The welcoming atmosphere and charming decor set the tone for what turned out to be an delightful stay. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and ensured a smooth check-in process, which made me feel right at home. My accommodation was nothing short of exceptional. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully furnished with modern amenities that enhanced my comfort. The attention to detail was evident, from the luxurious bedding to the tasteful artwork adorning the walls. I particularly appreciated the door opening up on the balcony that offered stunning views of the surrounding area, making every morning a visual delight. One of the standout features was the bathroom and shower, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. The toiletries were high-quality and left me feeling pampered. The kitchenette was an added bonus, offering all the essentials I needed, which I took advantage of for a few cozy breakfasts in my room. The location of Sovereign is also worthy of mention. It’s nestled in a prime area that allowed me to easily access local attractions, restaurants, and shops. The peaceful ambience of the property felt like an oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. I also had the pleasure of trying out the on-site dining options, which were fantastic. The food was delicious, and the service was prompt and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. In summary, my stay at Sovereign exceeded all my expectations. The combination of excellent service, stunning accommodations, and a prime location made it a truly memorable getaway. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful, comfortable retreat!

Having to leave, I felt right at home.

Pool was lovely, though unfortunately not very warm, and the sun didn't stay around it for long, but this might be the norm for this time of year. Sauna and spa pool were lovely. Didnt use yhe gym. Gardens were kept nice and clean. The apartment was very clean and tidy, and well equipped with everything. Only really met the receptionist, but found her very helpful and nice. Apartments were just outside of the main drag, which I liked. Beach not that far to walk to. Didn't see many others there, mainly had thd pool to ourselves!

The apartment was on the main road, which was very noisy if you had the windows open, but very well soundproofed when the windows and door were shut. I feel more should be made of it really being rental apartments rather than a hotel as it is not serviced at all once in there, and if you do want it serviced you pay extra. I feel more should be said about having to pay a $200 deposit, which I must admit was returned back to me very quickly. Hotel restaurant not open everyday. Room WiFi didn't work, but hotel WiFi did still reach there.

We liked its location and outlook and also the added facilities and the security of the garage. The bed was huge and almost had to book a taxi to go visit my wife.

That there was no form of hotplate available nor dishes for any microwave cooking either. Even an electric fry pan would have helped. We also found the shower over the bath a bit old world and perhaps a bit dangerous, when the bathroom is big enough for both shower and bath.
