Smooth and simple check-in, friendly, courteous staff who are customer focused. Room had everything a family needed and nothing you didn’t. AC’s and TV’s worked perfectly, hot water was hot, very comfortable beds with high quality linen. Room was immaculately clean and well presented. Overall, exceptional value for money, outstanding hosts, plenty of on site security camera monitored parking. We will certainly be back - most practical family motel on Nebo Road.

The manager and his partner were lovely. I had to call the main office at 7:30pm to ask for a dustpan and brush because my daughter had accidentally broken a glass cup, the manager came down within minutes and they didn't make me feel like I had been a 'bother' ringing that late. It was also nice having the little pool area for the kids. Which we took full advantage of for the 4 days we were there My girls also loved the cleaning ladies who were working throughout the rooms because they offered them biscuits everytime they saw each other, so the girls loved that. Its also a motel where you feel safe to let the kids play out the front of the room. Our room was right next to their laundry facility which came in handy having the 3 kids. Washing machine is $3 for a load and dryer was $4. But I used the clothes line they had out the back and the little dry rack. Having the laundry was one of the best features I've had when staying in accommodation somewhere.

My only 'dislike' was I would have loved for playground area to be a little updated/maintained. It wasn't horrible by any means, just needed some TLC when it came to the lawns. Wasn't an overgrown mess at all. Just playgrounds always look more inviting when the lawns are nice.

The location was great. We are a family of 5 so requested a quiet room and we were put down the end where we didn't hear any road noise. The room had everything we needed, and more. We were provided a cot for the night, with linen (even a little pillow which was a nice touch). The fridge was stocked with plenty of little long life milks and even a little chocolate for us all. The room was clean and contained all the appliances we needed (kettle, toaster, iron, etc). Staff were helpful too. Great experience.

My husband was a health emergency disembarkation from our cruise. We are from the USA. He was transferred to Mackay Base Hospital. I chose this accommodation for its proximity to the hospital. What I found was a spacious room as described. The bonus was the very comfortable bed, and the support of friendly, helpful staff. Plus, the on-site laundry has excellent machines.

Great value for money, perfectly located for our visit to Mackay. We were a last-minute booking while on the road and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was huge with plenty of space provided. The IGA supermarket was a 5 minute easy walk from the hotel. Even though the hotel was on a busy street you couldn't hear the traffic. A perfectly relaxing stay

First time staying in Mackay on the way home. Beautiful staff. Very clean safe venue. Got hot shower great air conditioning and some tv. Also smokers area out front which I appreciate. Slept well. Thankyou

I'm 6'4 a queen room should be a queen bed ;) still slept well comfy with feet hanging off..

The lady who greeted us was lovely! For accomodation that was reasonably priced I was very impressed with the room, Netflix, laundry on site and cleanliness.

The neighbouring room was disruptive, domestic disturbances happening with arguing, slammed doors, lots of swearing etc - to be fair .. this was not the motels fault and it was dealt with when it got to be a big problem in the morning. It did put a downer on our stay though as I had three little boys.

Room small but okay. The Manager had produced a wonderful ‘what’s happening in Mackay’ which was very useful. Well done.

Gee the traffic going to the mines out west disturbed our sleep but that applies to all the other Motels in the main road. Was like Sydney traffic

I was met by the friendly manger who help with the security box to retrieve my keys which was helpful as my vision isn't the best at night also the room was clean big enough for a family and it situated on the main road leading to the highway north no need for GPS

The staff were lovely and friendly. We stayed in the executive queen room, and it was a good size and had everything we needed. Lovely and clean and tidy. Overall, really happy with our stay.

Always find rooms a little dark in motels, but that's only a minor observation.
