Aske I was offered a change of room and it was Immediately provided the staff also took the time to look in on my disability colleague while I attended a meeting he asked for coffee and it was bought over to our accommodation. with the comment that if anything else was required just ask. I love the family feel of the Motel and will certainly use when returning to Mackay fir business

Great for an overnight stay while travelling. Spacious room, very clean, had equipment in the room for self catering and sink. The motel is quite old but was great value. Nice pool area, although we didn't use it. Undercover car park. Good to be near Botanical Gardens to stretch our legs after long drive. There was a hotel in walking distance for dinner. Staff were helpful in giving us directions.

The motel is quite old, but clean and comfortable. It was value for money spent. The aircon was old but in reasonable working order. Considering that we booked only a short time before arrival, we were glad to have a motel that was reasonably priced and staff happy to help out on arrival.

No plug in the basin. I really dislike having to wash crockery etc in the same basin that is used for shaving and cleaning teeth. Would you do this at home? No, so why expect guests to do it? Provide a small plastic bowl.

I was travelling through town so the quite clean room & block out curtains meant I was able to sleep very well & felt great & refreshed for driving the next day. Very happy!!! I will definitly stay here again next time.

No complaints at all. I booked an extra night that I don't end up using. The owner was more than happy to give me a future booking which did me great. Thankyou

Great location, extremely clean, quiet room.

Shower curtain - water gets all over the floor & creates a slipping hazard. Cooking facility of a portable hotplates & 2 saucepans was a bit disappointing. An electric frypan would have been better as those hotplates are awful to use.

Staff always go above and beyond to help guest with anything they need. Called to check i was still coming as it was a bit late and they also wantes to make sure i was safe. Helped unpack heavy stuff out of my car as i was unable. Offered to put the stuff back in my car when i left but i left early in the morning

The motel was a little more out of town than I expected, but there was a hotel just up the road and a service station selling sandwiches and coffee. Also a bus stop right out the front door for a quick trip into the town centre. Service was great as I was a late check-in the manager stayed up until I arrived and next morning gave me a lift into town which was excellent!

I could find no fault with this well-run motel.

Since our stay was overnight only and we left early the next morning, so we didn't have breakfast at the facility. We appreciated having a roof over our head, a comfortable bed and facilities to prepare our own dinner at night.

The parking space outside the room was occupied by another vehicle, which made it a little awkward for unpacking and repacking the car. Otherwise it was Okay.

Cleanliness was top notch! Staff were amazingly friendly and couldn’t do more for us! I would stay here again next time I visit Mackay as checkin was easy and so was checkout… and it was lovely and quite considering it was so close to the airport.

Wifi was very slow… but this wasn’t an issue for us.

I am in a wheelchair but did not expect to be able to use it easily at Mackay BUT the door was wide enough, they had removed the second bed and there was plenty of space to manoeuvre. Plus there was a shelf about 2 1/2 metres long and perfect height for my chair and had a power point. The bathroom was suitable for use with a walking stick and could get the chair into the door. All in all a pleasant surprise, Oh, and the linen was so crisp and clean, quiet heater (only 14 degrees), plenty of large fluffy towels.

The tv was playing up - they came immediately to fix. I was cold, blankets were delivered. Just nice people
