The owners were nice & friendly. We didn't know the area but the motel exceeded our expectations, the grounds were really nice & well maintained & made you want to sit outside & enjoy it. The kids loved the pool & the rooms were clean & comfortable. We really only passed through but the town seemed lovely. Motel was outside the town centre, but imagine everyone passing through has their own transportation & wouldn't be an issue

There was a leak from the shower & no permanent bbq out - but in saying that the owners, of less than 12mths, have plans for a permanent bbq & there is restaurant available on site. They also happily set up for us upon request.

The staff here are very helpful and it's a very clean and modern property for where it is. Rooms are spacious and plenty of parking. Pool is lovely in summer too as is the little courtyard and picnic table if not too hot outside.

The property is a bit out of town and that means anything you need you have to drive for. It also means that there's no phone service (or next to none) so you do have to rely on the wifi which is good however at the property.

It was great to have a cup of tea in a decent mug. the surroundings were so peaceful and the dining area was a delight. being out of Mareeba, no traffic noise. The decor was first class. Staff were wonderful. We were late and it was no problem to cook us a late evening meal.

I have no complaints.. Will definitely stay there again.

The room was a pleasant surprise. It looked newly furnished and painted, the shower was to die for - with some lovely toiletries too. Private, very quiet and comfortable. I was attending a medical appointment in Atherton and this was exactly the relaxation space I needed after.

I was disappointed the restaurant wasn't open the night I stayed but town is less than a 5 minute drive and it was easy enough to find a feed.

Had planned to drive much further north but got lost and decided too tired to stick to our plain! Glad we didn't as this was a perfect stop. Joanne was warm and welcoming and a cold beer in their bar and dinner in the restaurant was just what we needed. Peaceful tropical gardens, a comfortable bed and super clean.

Very clean, modern and comfortable rooms. The staff were amazingly friendly. The gardens and setting were pleasant and relaxing. There was a pool and laundry. You could have evening meals and breakfast in your room or the restaurant.

It was a bit out of town but in the end, we decided that was a pleasant bonus.

Our 2nd time staying with the kids as we visited the Drive In theater down the road. Super friendly staff. First time up we used the pool, but time too cool.

Some of the bathroom walls needed a little action but didn't effect the overall room. Happy to stay again next we visit Mareeba.

Excellent, impeccably clean, modern, quiet, great shower. Great WIFI, check in and out with no fuss, comfortable beds. Convenient and very friendly staff.

Unfortunately restaurant was closed and it is 3km to town, but I was happy with that plenty of dinning options in town like the Gateway Hotel. No fuss great overnighter with plenty of parking. Bring your portable bluetooth speaker TV speakers are no good.

We had dinner and the food was delicious and the service in the restaurant was excellent, River was extremely attentive and very friendly with everyone. Our experience at this Motel was enhanced by how accommodating and friendly River and all staff were to us.
