This was a peace of paradise in the middle of suburbia. It’s a former B and B so not a typical cookie cutter motel. There are only 6 Beautiful “cottage” Iike rooms overlooking a lake. Sitting on the deck of a evening and to drink your morning coffee was the perfect way to start and end your day. A well appointed area where you can prepare your own meals. (A step up from a camp kitchen.) Geese, cows, swans and other wildlife roaming freely in the grounds.

That we only booked 1 night. Next time it will require a minimum of 2.

The views were spectacular and the animals around such as the geese who had their daily routine waddling past the cabins to check out the guests each morning. Black swans in the lake and a massive variety of birds and ducks. The relaxed attitude of the owner, basically make yourself at home ethos. It was lovely.

We didn't know how the breakfast worked. Was it included? How did it happen? Was it just a 'help yourself' arrangement in the kitchen or did you have to order it? My husband is a coeliac so we weren't sure what to do about breakfast, so we just had cereal in our room. There wasn't much bench space to make anything for yourself in your room. The supplies in the room weren't topped up until the last day we were there, so we ran out of tea bags etc. I know that it says we can just call, but we didn't want to bother busy people, but we thought the rooms got a daily service.

We loved the privacy , beautiful view . So peaceful we loved seeing the birds and the ducks come and visit us . The camp kitchen was fantastic and such a good idea . Try the wine , ( we had Semillon) really great. Everything is close , Narangba village just up the road . Grahame and his wife ( managers ) were so helpful and were always buzzing around and available. We also loved meeting the other guests when we were cooking , very communal and we met al lot of lovely people .

Only one thing and feedback only the kettle is a bit big for filling up at sink . That said our cabin was brand new and this was the only inconvenience.

Beautiful lookout to the birds and lake. Bird noises were amazing. Facilities were clean and New. Owner and manager very helpful.

Lack of facilities for the money. We had the family room with gratefully a tap, sink and small fridge. Couldn't stay with a family for more than a night or two as too small. Only a kettle and dishes in the room. had communal cooking facilities, toaster and milk.

Amazing hidden gem located not far from local amenities. The views from the verandah overlooking the lake were amazing and the cows and geese made it a memorable experience. The modern minimalist contemporary take on the rustic farm aesthetic was executed with ease and made it such a comfortable stay! After the stay when the hosts realised I had left my toothbrush in the room they contacted me and we very easy to organise the return of it to me.

*Cane toads... But its Qld right! (and im just petrified of them :p ) *The water pressure in the shower is very lackluster but it needs to be understood this property is on tank water and is conserving so whilst I wanted a nice beaming hot shower I understood why I didn't have one *No towels in the room when we arrived however I'm sure this would have been rectified in an instant but we had our own on us anyway (campers) so we didn't bother to say anything.

Take a break from the city, close to the city. You don’t need to drive 3 hours to be away from noice and caos, this place is perfect to have a weekend away, relax and connect with nature. It was super clean, the view to the lake is wonderful (there are swans! 😍)and the jacuzzi was more than a perfect experience. The owner was super nice sincer day 1, we had a little incident (our fault) and he was super nice and kind. We loved the experience!

We loved everything about the venue. We were greeted with smiles, and showen through the room. The room has a bush and lake setting to look at. It is very clean and well set up. The community kitchen is just perfect with everything you need to make a meal and amenities to clean up after yourself.

I cannot say a bad word about this place. The owners are lovely. They have put in alot of hard work and money to get it to where it is now, and they are expanding to make it even better. We will definitely be back as it is in an ideal location for a quick get away

The location was amazing. Wouldn’t think you could travel so close to stay at a place like this with such a beautiful property and scenery!!!! Absolutely stunning. Loved the animals there too. You get greeted at your balcony by big ducks, very talkative! Loved it and so did my baby son.

That I couldn’t get the room with the soa because it was booked out but that was fine. We will try book in early for it next time.

Such a little slice of paradise! It felt rural... so quiet except for the sound of the birds. Yet so close to everything Brisbane offered!

In room appliances weren't available, but the shared kitchen was very close by and had everything.... so a minute dislike.

Honestly everything was nicer than I thought it was going to be. The location and view were really pretty. Massive shower area and having the spa outside was so really nice.

Hard to find anything I didn’t like. If I HAD to say something negative, the mattress was pretty hard/solid. But wasn’t an issue for a short stay.
