We were a little disappointed that the original booking did not mention the fact that it was a shared bathroom. When you see the photos it is not evedent . It's only after you book and confirm your reservation that you receive a message asking if you would like yo pay an extra 35.00 a night for a room with an ensuit grrr.

Liked the light continental breakfast and the dinner was really good value, quality and quantity. Parking right outside the room was very convenient. I stayed in a different room each night and the bed in one was great but the other just ok. Split system aircon worked well. The staff were very amenable.

The mattress in my second night stay would be much better if replaced. The shower in the spa suite is actually over the spa so that requires a good degree of dexterity to manage especially as the spa bottom was uneven. Lights that illuminate the carparking were quite bright and shone through the gaps in the blinds but from a security point of view I liked that the carparking was very well light. Be mindful too of a $200 bond but most hotels are doing something similar it seems.

Location was central...not too far from the beaches, from the CBD or the Adelaide Hills district. Bistro right next doors for lunch and dinner. Staff very friendly and polite

Room overall was clean and fresh, but the carpets looked like they were not vacuumed very well, no toaster, breakfast was a couple bags of cereal. I thought we would get at least some toast and jam when it was advertised as breakfast included. The bistro didn't do breakfast either.

Check - in easy. Staff courteous. Room clean.

Dinner was disappointing. Salad bar not replenished. Shown to a table that hadn't been cleaned. Staff member relocated me to a second table that hadn't been cleaned. Main meal put on second table without comment. Disappointed because I've had much better service there.

Room was comfortable, clean and very spacious including bathroom. Hotel has great facilities as we attended a function there upstairs and it was good having all facilities up there and the food was terrific.

Could have another light in bathroom for makeup purpose

Everything was excellent. Breakfast was excellent, everyday they came for housekeeping and topped up the breakfast items.

Wifi range was too weak. However, I had bought a simcard with 30GB data so I was least borthered about it.

The rooms are modern, with spacious beds. The spa bath was relaxing and spacious, easily fitting a couple with a small kid too.

While the room had a shower/bath combo, our shower did not function properly due to a broken shower hose. The lamps on the side of the bed were faulty, with one not turning on at all and the other cutting in and out.

The $200 deposit you have to pay on the room they hold it for 5 days after you leave before your account is refunded this is nonsense as someone who might stay in a different motel every night for me travel and work would not be viable if everyone did this! I even offered to pay a cash deposit which they refused. For this reason I probably won't stay or recommend staying at the highlander but saying that everything else was great.

Close to family and shops. Enough room for the 3 of us. Large spa.

The spa plug wasn’t water tight. The water leaks out while you’re in it.

Lovely big room and restaurant attached to the hotel to get drink and food

Little bit far out of Adelaide but transport is good. Jacuzzi bath in room that didn’t work and unsafe standing in it to have a shower.
