While the room was very basic and even dated, all the facilities I required were ther and the bed was very comfortable. The meals were delicious and when I thought to ask, I was able to get a half serve, which suited my appetite better. The same food was available in the bistro and via room service. I thoroughly enjoyed my seafood platter, trying mussels for the first time ever. And pavlova for dessert is always a favourite. There was a breakfast pack in the room alone with bottled water. These were free and optional. If you used them, they were repalced at no charge, but there was no obligation to use them. Room also had free WiFi.

The only thing to improve my stay would have been a lift. All accommodation was upstairs and between heavy cases and a crook knee, I found going up and down stairs all the time a challenge. Also, staff need to remember they are under customer windows when out the back in the wee hours having a smoke and a chat.

We arrived late and the night staff were amazing, great personality and very friendly 😊 We managed to make it, to the Dining room before it closed and had a wonderful Pork Roast with all the vegetables or salad that you could eat 🤩 Ice cream was included in the fantastic price of $19:00 each, what a treat 🥹 The next morning l went for a walk across the road, along the beautiful foreshore and the jetty 😎 Which l was amazed to see heaps of starfishes 🌟 in the clear blue water

The Hotel met all our needs and was perfectly located. Parking was good and the restaurant made some great food and breakfast.

Some of the people leaving the pub bellow the rooms late at night would use some pretty colourful language which may not be so great if you are traveling with children. Some rooms however may not be so close to the exits, so I am sure they would have allocated a better placed room if it was requested.

The location was excellent. Close to a two supermarkets, tourist information and many cafes and restaurants. It was in very easy walking distance to various landmarks and the Railway museum. Having a small refrigerator and kettle in the room made it convenient to make tea and coffee whenever desired. Also my room had direct access to the front verandah with views to the waterfront. The room was serviced daily which was above and beyond!

Was perfect for us, shower was great, all the room facilities were great. Would have liked a microwave though

Aircon was a little slow towards the end and the room got quite humid at night

The staff were so polite & had a great attitude to the workplace. I met so many nice guests & people there which is nice.

There was nothing i didn't like. Some people just like to complain for the sake of complaining.

The staff were so kind and helpful. The easy access from carport to room. More private than expected The ease of using the bistro.

Old mate next door awake at 4am singing in the shower for 22 minutes straight... the walls are thin. He left at 5am.

The hotel was centrally located and the staff members were friendly. The lady who signed us in gave us some good ideas for how to fill in the rest of the day.

I don’t do stairs well. Therefore my husband made all the trips with the gear we needed.

Everything ... Extremely appropriately priced - great staff - food is very affordably priced and great tasting! Absolutely LOVED it here ... Easy going - down to earth - genuine establishment ... Can't wait to go back!
