Stayed one night en route to Adelaide. Cosy, tidy very clean, well equipped room. Good bed, shower and wifi. Small sofa. Big storage cupboard. Crockery and cultery. Close to Foodlands, shops, beaches and sights. Very good value for money. Would stay again.

Google maps seems to have confused a road on the left with the entrance just after the road. Entrance could be better marked. Motel seems to have been 'rebranded' from the 'Guichen Bay Motel' to 'The Guichen'. Room was very good for overnighter but not sure how it would fair for a long stay.

Room was clean. Shower worked well. The fridge froze some of our food - perhaps it was up too high but a note not to put food next to icebox might be useful. Found it strange that the queen bed was in the lounge and 2 singles in the bedroom. Some more coat hangers including trouser hangers would be great. Pillows were lumpy. Single beds very soft and queen bed very hard (might benefit from a mattress topper). Just some feedback for improvements but overall nice room and good location

Excellent and very large room with heating and cooling. A few extra power points would have been a bonus but I have learned to travel with our own extension cord so no big problem. Good location and everything we needed was within walking distance. Room was spotless but missing the information booklet with the internet password and unable to contact the management on the number provided (there is no one on site). Managed to get the password off a fellow guest so all was well.

More power point near table for computer hook up. A contact number to management that works.

Room was clean and comfortable size for our two night stay, the location of the Motel was perfect, walking distance to shops and Restaurants

The noise that could be heard from the adjoining room, the talking, TV, boiling the Kettle, washing the dishes, slaming doors etc and then be woken at 6am by their alarm!!!! and the noise of them starting all over again!!! Was not impressed, either they were the most noisy people ever or there is no sound proofing between rooms!!! Think it was a bit of both!!

Location. Staff. Close to laundromat and a handful of great cafes for breakfast

The shampoo/conditioner was terrible - you need a separate tube for shampoo and conditioner (sorry). Also, upon arrival I could not receive any message on my phone, or make calls. Luckily, the cleaning lady was there on the premises and provided all the assistance I needed. My phone service provider is VODAPHONE and their coverage in country areas is terrible.

The location was perfect for walking around Robe for shopping, sight seeing and eating. Room was freshly painted and renovated. Room to put away clothing.

The outside of bathroom door kept sliding open. No eye and hook to hold it shut. Very embarrassing when we had guests visit that were staying at the caravan park. We used a thong to wedge into end of door to stop it rolling open. I did report it, so hopefully, it will be fixed for the next guests.

A great location and comfortable beds, cleaning staff were friendly.

Prefer rentals with hard floors as old carpet is dirty unless constantly steam cleaned. Tv reception is very poor, keeps dropping out. A tv with dvd built in would be better, I know internet was available through my phone , but there can be safety issues.

Clean room, basic facilities, big enough for what we needed - a place to stop overnight on our way through. Situated at the back of a pub and the room we were in was very close to this, but we couldn't hear any noise late at night, and it was busy at the bar! There is parking directly outside your room, and picnic tables and chairs on the property to enjoy your meals at. The hotel was in a great location for easy walking down the main street to pick up dinner and go for coffee and breakfast in the morning.

The room was recently renovated to a high standard. There was an electric charging station in the car park. The nearby hotel had good meals and a wonderful ambience. It was comfortable and sunny.

If I had to make one criticism it would be that there was a rather large gap in the bathroom door closing making the lounge room visible from the toilet and vice versa. I coped though.

The motel was really lovely. Receiving information was excellent and access was easy. Room was fresh and spotlessly clean with everything needed including washing up liquid and tea towel. There is also a courtesy bar chargeable to your card for snacks and drinks. The Black Swan which is right next door is absolutely a brilliant place for dinner. Fantastic food and a wonderful team working there. Would absolutely stay here again.

There was nothing we didn't like.
