Location is great. Right near the waterfront. Meals, coffee, snacks available nearby. Staff went above and beyond to help us with small issue in our room. Quickly resolved and stay was great.

We thought it was good value for money however there was no power point handy to plug in kettle - had to sit it on the floor.. TV was not working on all channels but staff assured us they are in the process of replacing all TV's.

The hotel is in an amazing location and the sound proof rooms were fantastic for a great night's sleep. Beds were comfortable and clean and the host at reception was extremely helpful and friendly and gave great suggestions for eating locations plus great tips for our future travel plans.

Due to circumstances out of control, the hotel restaurant was shut (but so was the pub next door for two days). But we ended up getting an amazing and generous meal from the Chinese restaurant on Main. I highly recommend the Chinese Restaurant.

Beautiful location opp the beach with amazing sunsets. Room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The motel is in a very quiet location and a short walk to local hotel and supermarket. The host was very friendly and welcoming. It is nice to stay in a motel where you are greeted by a person rather than a key box. Would definitely stay again.

Although rooms are a little dated they represent good value for the price and wonderful location.

The shared enclosed balcony was a lovely place to sit out of the wind and watch the sunset, unfortunately if families with young children are staying in these first floor rooms they use the space as a playground and the noise also is heard in the rooms

The room was spacious and comfortable. Had a queen size and single bed. Shower recess roomy and water pressure good. For older people it was good as it had hand rails in the shower area.

Neighbour was very noisy and he and his partner had a very noisy row with lots of swear words. Spoke to manager next morning about it.

owners/management extremely reasonable re check-in flexibility and willing to help with specific needs. lovely location, the property is a little out dated however everything ages over time! and renovations in a holiday location like Kingston are easier said than done, a place like this can’t just close down for a year to renovate, unfortunate but understandable. we were down for a funeral and found it cosy, comfortable, basic but welcoming and homely feel after and emotionally draining week. made a horrible day manageable with the warm personalities and hospitality. very grateful. Will definitely return for a happier trip. thank u Erin and Mitch

When we had a problem with the TV and rang reception a staff member came and spent the time needed to remedy the problem. He was happy to help.

The wash basin was too small. Fluor lights instead of a bedside light were too bright if one person was going to sleep while the other was reading.

Positioned right on the Esplanade and a stones throw from the Jetty/Beach. Everything was in walking distance. A pub and IGA supermarket are just behind the Motel. My room had ocean view, and the room opened onto the outside balcony where you could sit and relax.

The balcony was shared with all the rooms along there, so people walked past my open door/window/me sitting outside. The restaurant isn't open any more, bit of a shame.

Central location to the town and close to restaurants.

The room could do with updating with regard to fixtures and fittings. It was clean but looked like nothing had been done since the 1960’s or 70’s. Our room had an adjoining door to the unit next to it through which all sound was easily heard.

The location

Our unit was very old fashioned, 1960s perhaps. Curtain over window was broken and obviously had been for some time. Bathroom was quite cramped. A cockroach appeared in the hand basin after I had a shower. Police and then an ambulance arrived as we checked in apparently investigating a drug overdose involving another guest.
