We were upgraded to a larger room. The property is central to so many things - Launceston, Cradle Mountain, chocolates, honey, raspberries, dairy, caves. There is even a good restaurant on site, and walking distance from the commercial area.

The room took a long time to warm up.

Our room was clean and tidy, basic facilities available. There is a restaurant on site which serves meals (dinner), these were reasonably priced. It is located a bit out of town so you have to drive into town if you want anything. Staff were absolutely lovely, couldn't do enough for us. Parking available straight out the front of our room. Great value for money.

The motel was in the process of being painted and the painters arrived early to paint which a bit noisy. The people in the room beside us got up even earlier and decided to have a conversation directly in front of our room - we know this is out of control of the motel. But just be aware that noise could be an issue

Highly recommended for short stay looking for comfort, cleanliness, convenience and well maintained facilities accommodation. I was so happy to be able to check in at 9am arrival with my earlier flight 6am. Also staff are friendly. The environment is great. We are able to enjoy relaxing in outdoor day and night.

Maybe add flyscreen to main door. So door can be kept opened with natural ventilation and kee flies out

Great location and view, staff very nice and helpful. It was very nice to have laundry facilities on the premises.

Only disappointment was that the restaurant wasn’t open the 2 nights we were there, however the staff gave us a brilliant recommendation that was very close and so good we went there both nights.

On arrival the staff were welcoming, warm and friendly. The room was large and bright and clean. Unfortunately the 'spa bath' in the room was out of order but the large roomy shower was great. The queen bed was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable and the heater worked well. Tea, coffee and milk provided. 'Settlers' on site restaurant was lovely, the staff were great, the service was great. The food was fresh and tasty.

The staff was so friendly, the room was old fashioned but clean and big, and the location was good for our purposes, we basically just overnight there.

Heather works fine and it's not old at all, but it is not enough for the second room, so it will be great having an additional one for the second room even if it's a small one. However, the room was fine, clean and well maintained, for sure it will be my option in the future 😉

The 2 bedroom apartment was great value for money and the beds were comfy.

We were calling the phone number and ringing the buzzer for 30 mins with no response. I walked around the property to find ladies in a laundry or kitchen out the back and they finally came to the front desk and allowed us to check in. After a very full day of travelling on the ferry this was quite stressful. We also let them know at the time of booking that we would be arriving on the ferry at the time of booking. Also our kitchen did not have a kettle, the "car wash" was outside our room and we were woken up by it being used at 6am.

this little motel is one of the best places to stay before heading further west or up to cradle mountain. Deloraine is such a cute little town and its placement among other facilities cannot be beaten. Close to woolies, breakfast spots, walking trails and quintessentially tasmanian.

We had a view of the back fence, and while it wasn't about the view, it does make the room darker in the morning.

We felt cared for right from our initial conversation at check in - the people who work here are very obliging and pleasant. We borrowed DVDs from Reception and also plates and cutlery. The view from the huge room windows was a surprise. This is an old fashioned style motel with rooms close but we didn't hear a thing from the neighbours or the road. Terrific location, close to town and also to the road to Mole Creek - worth a visit for the Caves, Alum Cliffs, the wildlife sanctuary and and the Melita honey place in Chudleigh. Stay in the area a couple of nights because Deloraine is worth it. Coffee and food at Deloraine Deli was excellent.

The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. Any little extras we asked for, they quickly obliged.

There was only a microwave available in a communal laundry. It was slightly inconvenient, but not a big issue. Unfortunately, the bed was quite hard & not very comfortable. Being rather elderly, it was a bit of an issue.
