Our family stay at Country Club Tasmania was an absolute delight from start to finish. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, especially Leigh, who went above and beyond to ensure our entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. The upgrades provided to our family suite were truly impressive. The spacious living area, equipped with comfortable seating and a large flat-screen TV, allowed us to unwind and spend quality time together. The bedroom was beautifully appointed, with plush bedding and ample storage space for our belongings. The en-suite bathrooms were modern and well-equipped, with luxurious amenities that added to the overall sense of indulgence. The resort's amenities were a huge hit with our family. The on-site restaurants offered a diverse range of delicious and nutritious meal options, catering to even the pickiest of eaters. The indoor pool was a constant source of entertainment, and the well-maintained fitness center and spa allowed us to rejuvenate and recharge during our stay. One of the standout features of our experience was the attentive and personalized service provided by the staff, particularly Leigh. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcome and ensured that our every need was met with a smile and a genuine desire to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Overall, our family stay at Country Club Tasmania exceeded our expectations in every way. Parking was far.

We really appreciated the pool as it was very warm. The setting of the Country Club is very relaxing. The food for tea was reasonably priced, we declined to pay their breakfast price and had a great meal at Full O' Beans at the Prospect Shopping Centre.

I thought they were a little mean with the tea bags and coffee, not even a biscuit. We had trouble having a bath as none of the plugs fitted although eventually one was found for us. It would have been nice if we'd known the towels for the pool were in the cupboard, it was only by luck we found them.

Room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. After a long day travelling and working in the area, the comfortable bed and pillows were appreciated

It was quite a long walk from reception to the room, anyone elderly or with mobility issues may struggle unless there is a wheelchair to use. May be worth checking this is you are unable to walk long distances. Also shower was over the bath which may pose problems for some guests, unsure if all rooms are designed like this. Rooms were nice but bathrooms could be updated. Once checked in the vehicle needed to be moved and the only parking area was a long walk from the room.

Sliding doors to the deck need attention - very hard to operate and the flyscreens had been knocked off their tracks. Could hear people upstairs (a little person?) running from room to room after I'd gone to bed, I usually try to request a top floor room to combat this.... I had to search for the porter to retrieve gear from the lockup. I didn't realise my car would be so remote from the room, or the room so far from reception.

Beautiful well maintained grounds, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We didn't get to explore the other facilities/activities such as pool, horse riding etc. as we only stayed for one night but will definitely stay longer next time. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. Sometimes it's the little things and gestures that makes a trip enjoyable and memorable.

The lift was not operational during our stay. We were informed about it beforehand but still a slight inconvenience. A very small niggle though in comparison to how happy my family and I are with our stay 😀

Great location close to the airport and city. As a solo traveller, I appreciated the comfort and ease of moving through the property internally in a safe manner. The room was spacious and well equiped, comfortable and clean. After a swim, exercise, spa and sauna, I enjoyed a hearty meal at the bistro. Would like to return here and explore the grounds some more.

While the bathroom did have the usual soaps and shampoo etc I was surprised that there was no complimentary grooming accessories. ie: toothbrush, paste, shave razor, comb etc. Unfortunately the lake and bridge was not accessible due to works being carried out, I would like to see the finished bridge.

This place has everything you need for couples and families in one location. Nice to see kangaroos, ducks and hens roaming freely We had a suite with a spa which was spacious and a comfortable large bed. Staff are pleasant. Loved the free duck food available at reception

Construction was happening on the golf course which was right outside our room 2317 along with the noisy golf target practice range. Both start early and woke us up. We had a view of construction vehicles although it should be nice once all done. Long walk to rooms. Very big property and rooms are not close to reception. Extremely busy bistro. Long waits to order and find a table. Could have been that it was a long weekend which also made the pool busy and lots of families about. On-site hairdresser is a ripoff. She did extra things without asking then charged top dollar

Location and room

The website had no mention of the extensive golf course reconstruction taking place. As golf was one of our primary aims to find out the issues too late to amend our travel plans was disappointing. The reconstruction also restricted any casual walks which we have always enjoyed in the past. The dinner options are unusual in that not all restaurants were open every night particularly the Links restaurant.

The facilities are fantastic and room was so clean! The gym was really inviting and easy to use, and even though I didn’t swim in the pool and spa it looked like the perfect spot to enjoy with a view of the greens. The grounds were my favourite, I enjoyed sitting at my small outdoor terrace just enjoying the space and a coffee. I had a lovely easy dinner at the Water Garden and didn’t feel uncomfortable at all being a solo traveler. The perfect place for me to stay before my flight out the next day, and felt like I didn’t need to leave as the space is so relaxing and something for everyone.

Honestly nothing, I loved it and want to come back to try more of what’s to offer.

Our room was exceptional. It had a separate bedroom, lounge area an amazing bathroom and even a separate powder room. The included breakfast at Links restaurant was amazing and the dining options were many and varied, from upscale restaurants to economical bistro style meals in the Watergarden area. Easy access to Launceston's attractions by car or the bus service.

We were unlucky to visit during the re-development of the golf course, so our room overlooked a construction zone, but it will have a beautiful view when the works are finished. The car park was also quite a distance from the room, though you could load and unload luggage at the door to the hotel.
