Excellent accommodation just a couple of kilometres outside La Trobe with beautiful views across the valley. We got in very late from the Spirit of Tasmania ferry and our hosts had sent us directions and turned on the lights for us, which was nice. The little unit was very comfortable. We could only stay one night, which in hindsight was a shame, as it would have been a great place to base ourselves for a few days. Nearby La Trobe is not a big town, but it has some good cafes and coffee shops. Devonport is not far way.

The farm is a deer farm, it was so interesting watching the herd of deer, didn't expect that! Also sheep there too. Could see the neighbours cows also. The location is about 5-8 minute drive from Latrobe, not too far, a peaceful, relaxing country stay. Belinda is a very friendly host. Comfortable room, fan available and needed as it was a little warm. Breaky cereal and milk etc supplied

Great hosts, we were upgraded to the larger spa unit without charge as it was quiet that night. Lovely location on high point of the property with good views of the surroundings. Breakfast items provided were superb and the good sized kitchenette had everything you could need including pantry basics such as oil, salt & pepper. Bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. It is off the beaten track though so be prepared for the long gravel driveway and make sure you have shopped before you get there.

One of the bedside touch lamps wasn’t working, but the owner thanked us when we informed them the following morning and said they’d replace it. The garden bench just outside the unit was also in need of repair.

I liked the peace and tranquillity the property offered. It was close to Latrobe yet far enough away from the town to offer complete quiet.

There was nothing about the property I didn't like. It was a short but very comfortable stay.

Roomy unit with comfy bed, large bathroom with great spa bath, good kitchen. Quiet country outlook. Clean and tidy homely feel.

No shampoo or conditioner as stated or basket of provisions as stated on the wall.

great spot and value the Rams and deers are fun to watch and only 10 minutes away from Devonport and a few other places

only a couple minor things in the advertisement we was supposed to get Robes but didn’t and no toiletries we bought our own in the end and only one Tex for our room to be serviced

Loved everything about this place, especially the fact that it was a little out of town. The view from the rooms were so restful, particularly when the deer were out and about. An extremely comfortable stay with everything one needs.

excellent stay unfortunately only one night but an outstanding unit in a pristine position - loved the deer in the paddock outside the front window . Plenty of room to park a van if you need a night off .

Exactly what we needed for a night after being on the Spirit of Tas all day. Was warm, spacious and comfortable. We arrived late which wasn't an issue and great communication from the owners.
