- The official line is the water out of the tap is not drinkable unless boiled due to government regulation but when speaking with staff off record, they drink water directly - Beautiful and new looking place and facilities. Very clean - Large rooms and great view outside with nice verandah - Reasonable distance from neighbours so peace and quiet - Great location and onsite activities but if needs a pharmacy as we did, it's close to a 30 minutes drive away. By the way, we recommend drive longer to St Helen rather St Mary. The road to St Mary is definitely on the much more winding side of Tassie roads

- Very poor wifi - Car gate to enter the accommodation area is annoying as it's not accessible without someone getting off the car to swipe the door card - Couldn't get dishwasher going - Only IGAs nearby and no major supermarkets. At least both St Helen and St Mary's IGAs are well stocked

Nice quiet location with an accessible beach. A small playground for children. Also some wallabies for the to see. All necessary kitchen items supplied. Cannot comment on the restaurant as it was closed during our visit. Prompt attention by maintenance staff to replace a light.

Checking in process could have been better explained. We assumed the lock-box could be located outside the entry door of the unit (as it has been at other sites we stayed). After speaking to another guest, we were informed that the boxes were actually outside the main building. This could have been easily explained to us if there was a receptionist on duty.

The views and beaches were spectacular! The staff were friendly. Great spot to relax with family or a base for sightseeing drives. Ironhouse tastings were lovely and staff knowledgeable. The cafe attached held a lovely, well organised and tasty dinner for our large group.

The pool was freezing though advertised as heated. The power went out twice, no pre warning about undrinkable tap water. The site info sheet didnt have info on what to do with full bins or empty bbq gas bottle. Fridge and coffee plunger were broken, not replaced.

The location was great and the view from the unit was amazing. Lots of birds around. Comfortable beds and unit was well equipped for our needs. Good value for money. The pool was very good and the boys loved it. A bonus getting to watch a movie at their cinema.

Found the door out onto the deck hard to use and the toilet door was hard to lock. The shower was a bit hard to use also.

We had a lovely stay with our son and friends. Tash was amazing and so lovely, she was able to assist us with an early check in which was so nice. We will definitely be coming back again to stay. The villas were perfect especially the big Dec at the front our son loved playing out on this. It really had everything you needed for a short or long stay. Fully self contained was a bonus also. The pool was beautiful especially the view and having none bbq area close by was a great place to gather with friends

The view, the wonderful deck. Kitchen facilities and amenities. Comfortable lounge, good parking. Plenty of towels etc in the bathroom.

No bbq on the deck. We knew this, but the bbq would have made the deck a feature. Mattress and pillows looked great, but had hard centres. At times, other guests were noisy playing games in the public areas. Cushions on the dining chairs were the wrong size - minor. The shower head requires attention.

A very clean and comfortable 2 bedroom unit with a large patio area and excellent sea views from the loungeroom, bedroom, and patio.. Spacious kitchen area and large walk-in shower. A carport for car parking next to the entry door. Lots of free-range wildlife to see on the large grass areas from dusk onwards

The swimming pool was closed for maintenance and the restaurant wasn't open on the evening i was there. Both of these were listed as being closed when i booked, so i was well aware and able to make alternative arrangements for an evening meal

Clean, well set up for a family holiday with kids, with great amenities and super friendly staff. Great location for exploring all the best parts of the east coast, and a sweet little beach was the icing on the cake ⛱️ My family and I had an amazing time!

Nothing not to like!

This was an ideal venue for a quiet retreat for a couple. The decor/fit-out of the villa was excellent. The self-contained set-up was very welcome for our budget. The spectacular view and sounds of the sea were well worth the visit. The magnificent deck, nearness of the sea and the sunshine with a wonderful collection of birds made for a restful stay.

The only slight downside was the lack of personal contact with staff. Everything was via the Internet - booking, payment, key pickup and drop off. The short walks were OK but left us wanting more. The walk to the small beach was good but a better, accessible pathway all the way to the main beach would have been better. My wife found walking on the rocky shoreline in between the small beach and Mcintyres beach daunting. And being Monday to Thursday the reception, restaurant and tasting centre were mainly closed.

Pool, basketball court with ball, tennis courts, playground, golf area for putt putt, beach views. Felt very safe for the young kids to be running about exploring, could see them easily from our deck. Just a fantastic place for the parents to relax and kids to play.

Mosquitos, we forgot to bring something to deter them, ended up with quite a lot of bites. Next time we will be ready.
