We recently had the ' pleasure ' of staying in the Sandpiper Cabin, comfortable, cozy, warm, and 3 minutes walk to a beautiful peaceful beach, the Sandpiper cabin had everything we needed, and the Welcome Hamper was great, local bread, free range eggs from their domestic chooks, Jam, Granola and Muesli. John was welcoming, friendly and helpful, with extensive knowledge of the area, we would highly recommend, and we would definitely like to stay again, and see Rex again, the Dog.

The best thing was the beach access, as Denison Beach was 2 minutes’ walk from the cottage through the garden! The cottage was also so well appointed. It had everything you could possibly need. We even said that you could easily live there if you had to. Lastly, the option of being able to take our dog with us was so appreciated and the owner was very kind and helpful with our dog. Thank you, John.

I think the cottages might need an outdoor hose so you can get sand off your feet when returning from the beach.

* no electric blanket on the bed and no heater for the bedroom. It was very cold at night. * the fan on the wood heater didn't work. * a fairly long way from Bicheno. *could a pump going at night.

I loved everything about the cabin and location, and it felt very calm and relaxing. The cabin had everything needed and more, and the arrival basket of fresh produce was so wonderful. The wood heater was our main focus of our travels and relaxing by ots glory was the best. .

Didn't rate the shower much. the pressure of water was very low and just a tight squeeze in the shower over bath, but I am a bigger size.

We had a lovely time the Beach House was just devine we felt so comfortable. The manager was very helpful and sent us down a lovely hamper and sorted us quickly when we locked ourselves out! We just loved the access to the beach and that we could bring our dog who loved the beach. The best bit was that we had access to watch the Jack Jumpers win the NBL 2024!!

The only down was the bed sheets were a little scratchy!

Such a beautiful cabin in a gorgeous location. Everything I needed was provided. Great kitchen, huge bathroom. Can totally relax here and switch off. The cabins are situated so that you are not aware of the other cabins, it's peaceful and idyllic. Great that it is dog friendly - and just a short walk to a magnificent beach.

The property was located about 8km north of Bicheno (Tasmania), it was quiet and very relaxing. The cottage was clean and well appointed. The breakfast hamper provided was very good.

There was a late change to our actual booking, we were informed on the day of checkin by bookings.com. There was an offer to cancel, this was a little disappointing at such a late stage in the booking process. In relation to the property, there was some foliage at the rear of the cottage, the foliage had been allowed to grow up against the guttering/side of the cottage and when the wind blew it constantly scrapped/banged against the building. This by itself was not a big issue, however, at night it did affect our sleep as it was loud enough to wake us.

The cottage was very well equipped, was quiet, peaceful and very comfortable. A short walk to a fabulous beach with very white sand. We’re given a breakfast pack on arrival of farm eggs, cereal, local bread, milk, butter and jam. A real treat!

Not a fan of shower over bath as have back issues but managed. Quite tight to get a large car in and out of the parking area with all the large bushes.

Delightfully peaceful setting, the beach is just down a sandy track, and it was lovely watching all the birds in the gardens.

The location is a bit out of the nearest town, can't walk or cycle to the town. The bed was too soft!

The location is perfect- the beach is literally your backyard, plus the other key sites like Freycinet national park and the bay of fires are within an hours drive. The cottages are so cozy and also provide some privacy due to the distance between each cottage. The bed was one of the most comfy beds I have ever slept on. I also loved the small touches like providing a little kitchen bin for chicken scraps, and having the chickens wandering around the cottage in the morning. Upon arrival I was provided with a lovely breakfast basket that they had prepared, which I was not expecting and really appreciated.
