Comfortable bed, great complimentary breakfast, exquisite decor in a French farmhouse style, private gardens in the lovely town of Oaklands, this is one of the best places we have stayed at. There are five chickens including a rooster called Dexter who has a great personality and is a very pretty bird!

It is the cutest place ever. Well furnished, everything you need included. The bed was soooo comfy. Nice wknd getaway place

Checking in and checking out was abit confusing. Said I'd be able to check in at her store next door and had closed it already (we weren't late either) and then said we could check out at the store as well at 11, but the store doesn't open till 11:30. It wasn't well organised to be honest.

The French provincial furnishings were delightful. The bed linen was wonderful to sleep in. The garden was beautiful and it was lovely to sit out there in the afternoon reading and watching the chooks. Provisions for breakfast, etc were very thoughtful.

The large containers of fresh foliage looked wonderful but the flat tops of the chest and table would have been more useful to us (for chargers, small bags, books etc.)

The barn and surrounding gardens were stunning. We decided to stay here as a halfway point between Hobart and Cradle Mountain and we were so glad that we did. The decor was beautiful and there was such a great attention to detail with comfort in mind. The provided toiletries were good quality and the complimentary breakfast supplies were great, there was even fresh herbs picked from the garden and additional mini bar items available if needed. Would recommend highly to anyone and will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

The aircon was in the bedroom and the little heater for the lounge area was a bit temperamental. We were comfortable though as the small space warmed up quickly and there was an electric blanket on the bed.

A gorgeous and very stylish 'barn' accommodation with delicious breakfast (self-cook) choices and an array of food/drink choices to purchase. The surrounding garden was stunning and we loved the chooks.

Nothing - it was all just lovely

What an absolute gem and delight. Among the myriad things to like were the attention to details in everything from the decor and appointments to food options provided and the access to a wonderful kitchen garden all in a delightful private setting. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Such a pity we could only enjoy it for one night.

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Possibly the best place I have ever stayed at. It's not 5 star It's 6 star. You can just see the attention to detail. Fresh flowers, such a beautiful place.

Nothing about the accommodation. Town is a bit dull but enjoyed the antique store. It is a good location to check out the area though.

The beautiful garden surrounds and rustic outfitting of this self-contained cottage made us feel like we were holidaying deep in the woods, although the property is in the centre of the town. Fortunately, the breakfast provisions were ample for both dinner and breakfast as all eateries in town were closed the night we stayed. A real gem!

From the moment I viewed it online it took my breath away and I was hooked, The design, decor, size of cottage, neat and clean as a whistle and the ambience not to mention the generous offer of breakfast supplies A pantry full of everything needed to stay in cook, drink have pre-ordered AND all top quality. Their was of course the mini bar price list, Your choice, Our host Rhonda was wonderful. Clever girl has the most gorgeous gift shop/ladies fashion right next door, We look forward to our next visit/stay.

Having to leave the cottage and the lovely town of Oakland is just delightful. The people very friendly helpful and kind, Need to visit 'Eat Drink Stay' the cafe to be at.
