In a quiet area, had all we needed. There was a noisy pump but the owner was helpful: he checked after a late call from us (nearly 10pm) and was kind enough to ring back. When I called the lady was friendly.

The noise persisted at times. The bathroom window had a little section as ventilation permanently opened, it would be very cold in cooler weather and is unnecessary as there’s an exhaust fan. Only one tactic heater working (on the same switch as the heater?!) An electrical wire was exposed in the wardrobe: needs fixing.

Close to Port Arthur, and walked to dinner over the road which was handy. Maytag washing machine & drier $4 per load each great to have use of… washing powder supplied 🤩 Good TV and pretty good WiFi too. Self contained with little kitchen, fridge and many if the bits and pieces needed in the kitchen supplied. Love the fact they use re-usable soap, shampoo & conditioner rather than little bottles. Rabbits in the backyard… very sweet.

Often no one in the office… you’ll need to call… but they do answer quickly. Honestly not wanting to be nitpicky but some of the brochures in the apartment/unit were irrelevant eg Adelaide.. but otherwise such a great value place to stay.

Port Arthur Villas now have refurbished, modern villas equipped with a kitchenette comfy bed, good bathroom and TV with Netflix. The one we stayed at had a nice outdoor sitting deck with views towards Port Arthur Historic site which itself was a short 5-6 mins drive from the property so it was a great location for exploring the site as well as other attractions farther south. Though the property is on the main highway, it was quiet during the night and we enjoyed the full moon night from the bed and also the sunrise. There is lot of greenery on the site so take some time to enjoy lazy strolls around.

Nothing about the property it was great. Just a bit disappointed that there is no longer access to Port Arthur Historical Site any more from the gates across the road from the Villas. We were hoping to walk down through the gates as they back on to Port Arthur, but have been chained and locked for some reason.

Great location, 2 minute walk to the Port Arthur Historic site. Pretty garden setting, close to other Port Arthur attractions. Our studio room was spacious, clean and perfect for a short getaway. Full kitchen with stove, microwave, kettle, toaster and large electric frypan. Also a large fridge, cutlery and crockery, tea and coffee supplied. Great price for 2 nights.

We had planned a BBQ for our group of 8 but there was no gas in the bottles. Thankfully we had cooking facilities in our room!! Reception is 9-5 so no one around to help us out. I am sure if you rang the after hours number they would assist, but we decided to cook inside. probably our fault for not letting them know our intention to use the BBQ! If you want to self cater the saucepan’s are basic, but I understand the rationale around having premium cookware in holiday accommodation!

The location for us was perfect because we wanted to visit the Port Arthur Historic Site which was absolutely amazing. There was nothing wrong with the unit we had which was a 3 bed studio. Glasses etc a little mis-matched but clean and perfectly usable. A large oven, fridge and dishwasher makes self catering easy. May seem a tad dated but for a few nights no problem for us. The bathroom was large. Everything was clean.

Delightful setting close to historic district. Country atmosphere with songbirds serenading. Impressively eco-friendly property. Staff was cheerful and accommodating.

HVAC very good, but could use a bit of user instructions for the remote, i.e., point it directly at the unit. Otherwise the place is near perfect for us. Oh... the freezer compartment in the fridge needed defrosting. (Not a big deal.)

The location was fantastic, close enough to walk to the pub for a meal, and only a short drive to the Port Arthur Historic Site and other must see attractions in the area. Villa was very clean, comfortable and in a quiet spot, thick walls meant no noise from those nearby in other villas. The undercover BBQ area was a relaxing spot to sit on a sunny afternoon. I was travelling with girlfriends but it would be an ideal spot for a young family. Staff were fantastic, and went above and beyond! I booked a 2 bedroom villa with one queen and 2 singles, when we arrived the room had two queens. The bed request, from previous owner/manager, had not been conveyed but staff were great and organised an additional studio room, at no cost, which gave us the option of separate beds. The complementary bottle of wine was appreciated and a really nice surprise too! With such a great location and wonderful hospitality it is a fantastic place to stay. Thanks to all, we had the best time and will be back!

Nothing! Things that didn't affect our stay, but would improve the experience even more, provision of a recycling bin in central location & a screen door on entry to studios so door could be left open & keep flies etc out.

Quiet and well equipped for self catering. Very close to the Convict centre.

We prefer a King bed but the Queen was comfortable. The bathroom was very small and wouldn’t suit larger people. The TV reception was not good. But it was a very nice property. The outdoor BBQ area was excellent. Also there were only fast food available close no restaurants!

The property is extremely well located for access to Port Arthur Historical Site, various tracks and the Tasman Island Cruise. The person at reception was very helpful about shopping, dining and recreation sites. His recommendation for Remarkable Cave was spot on!

The tap water isn't very tasty so bring along some bottled water for drinking.
