Overall a good stay with a beautiful view to the water, a very clean & comfortable room (although slightly dated in some aspects) and an onsite pub. Location is fabulous. Easy walking distance to IGA supermarket, cafes, bakeries, fish & chips and a short drive to the Bay of Fires. The only thing we could fault (and found a bit strange) was no bathroom hand towel provided for guests. It’s the first time we’ve ever come across this and found it weird given that face washers were provided (I did request a hand towel from the absolutely lovely cleaning team, but was advised that it wasn’t something that was available so we ended up using the face washers as hand towels 🤷🏻‍♀️). Would I stay here again, yes. The comfort of the room and great location outweigh the minor concerns.

The staff were very friendly. It was very central close to everything. I arrived at checkout time but the room wasn't quite ready but the staff member allowed ne to place my refrigerated items in the fridge whilst I waited for the room to be ready.

The room could have been ready on time. The room was not child safe at all. No lock on the door to balcony, no lock or latch on the room door so Toddler was always escaping out of the room which made it hard to sleep at night. The beds also moved around alot.

Loved the open room, room facilites, renovated bathroom and balcony view, also loved the big, warm indoor pool and restaurant. The hotel is so close to attractions like Bay of Fires. It's right across from the IGA too which is handy for groceries. They have also installed a lift since we were last there, so handy! Staff were friendly and attentive. The price is great.

The external door on the upstairs level was great when going to the pool, but it locks behind you so we had to walk past the restaurant and to the lift to get back when we were wet which wasn't ideal! Might be something to consider for the future.

The location is perfect. Being next to the harbor, it is a short walk to some of the best seafood restaurants. We did not eat at the hotel this time, but would definitely enjoy them next time we come back. In the evening we enjoyed a beer and a game of billiards at the hotel bar. The staff and guests were very friendly and cheerful, and we quickly became friends.

We have nothing to complain about this hotel. The staff was friendly. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. No problems with WiFi or TV. If there is one, it would be that the rooms are too big. The space may make you feel a bit lonely.

The stay at the hotel was fine. I wouldn't say excellent. The restaurant staff were excellent.

The reception could have been a little more friendly. I know this has nothing to do with the hotel. But being close to the carpet, there was a customer obviously drinking in the hotel, who left s large dog in the car and it barked for two hours or more. We were trying to rest but couldn't due to the barking.

The hotel is centrally located and easy to find. The lift was convenient to get our luggage to the first floor. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great.Free parking is amply provided in a carpark across the road from the hotel. Check in staff were very efficient and friendly.

The view from our room was the local Reject Shop across the road adjacent to the beach. I specifically booked a room with a water view, so that was disappointing. The view from the window was downright depressing!

A very convenient and easy to access location opposite St Helens Harbour. The family room we stayed in was a basic family motel style room but was clean and well laid out with a small balcony overlooking the harbour. With an onsite bistro for easy meals, shops a couple of minutes walk away and other dining options nearby it was a great place for an overnight stop over or short stay.

I found the room what I expected The bar was nice as well the meal that we had was nice but when went to fine something else nice as in a good fish and chips I could not find so not happy about that but everything else great.

I didn't like that I couldn't get a good feed of fish and chips as I am old fashion when it comes to food The bed was too hard and I ended up having trouble with my back and had to go get pain killers to fix it.

First of all the view from our room was amazing. The hotel is basic but very pleasant and comfortable. We stayed one night. The restaurant nearby is very nice, with a great marina view. Good beds, nice shower, clean, well equipped. Dark curtains

Great that there was lift so that we didn't have to haul luggage up stairs! The view of the harbour from the window was lovely. The bed was very comfortable, the toilet flushed & the shower was hot, what more could you need. We had dinner in the dining room. We were served quickly & the meal was great.
