It was a lovely, quiet cabin. Great pressure in the shower. Bed was comfy.

The only reasons it lost 1 star is because the heater didn't work and the couch is too small, even a 2.5 seater would work for comfort. The morning temp was 1c, and I couldn't get the heater working. The lost mark was because there were no directions in the cabin. It took nearly 45mins before I got it working, and I left half hour later. The cabin would benefit from basic information on how to use the appliances. Having said all that, I would not hesitate to recommend this property and will definitely be back on my next Melb/Adl trip.

We were impressed from the moment we arrived. The owner/manager who greeted me was warm and welcoming. Our cabin was clean and well laid out with everything we needed. They'd put the heat on in expectation of our arrival, which we really appreciated. The park was quiet and in natural surroundings so it was a wonderful, relaxing trip to catch up with my dear friend and do the Aradale Asylum tour. We'll be staying again and recommending to everyone in our circle. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts.

Nothing - we wished we could have stayed longer and explored the area further. Next time we'll book a few more nights.

Great size and most facilities supplied. Great value for money for sure especially for a family situation as there is not only a playground and trampoline,there is also a heated pool. Last stay was at a roadside motel which was very noisy, this park is quiet cannot hear the highway noise at all, and is still accessible to town and facilities where we toured, If/when we come back we will Definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for your hospitality. And service with a smile, the staff went above and beyond.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

First impression was meeting the absolutely lovely lady in the office and I immediately felt welcomed. The park is in beautiful condition with very good facilities and play area. We stayed in the two bedroom cabin which exceeded all of our expectations. Plenty of room, comfortable couch, picnic table on the deck, good size kitchen area and comfortable beds. Very highly recommend G'day parks if anyone is staying in Ararat!!

Genuinely did not find anything to dislike

As holiday parks go, it not only met expectations though was in fact better than expected. This may not be the case for all cabin types, but the 2BR family cabin (Cabin B) was very good. Check in and check out were extremely easy and the park amenity was generally as expected.

Eventual upgrade perhaps of the Pool facilities, though current pool is perfectly functional.

The staff were friendly & informative. The heating had been put on prior to our arrival which we much appreciated. The cabin we had 25 is well set out, clean & has a microwave, fridge & AC. The park itself is set out well with flora. The bed was very comfy, it was pretty quiet so we slept very well. We enjoyed a walk around the park in the morning before breakfast. Water pressure & temp for shower is good. I guess the only thing is that we do prefer the flexibility of a shower with detachable rose & hose. There was ample cutlery & crockery provided. The wi-fi worked properly.

In reality there is nothing we didn't like. We'd prefer a detachable hose shower rose setup instead of fixed.

The property is clean with well equipped parking, I felt safe and secure on site and the cabbing heating was on without even having to ask for it! As a smoker there is ashtrays on every cabin which I wasn’t aware of before booking. Ashtray was cleaned before use and the cabin I stayed in I couldn’t fault. Felt like home away from home and will be staying there again!!

Absolutely nothing! 10’s across the board!

After checkout we thought we'd left some keys behind and rang the Park.. Staff went out of their way searching for an hour and communicating with us constantly. Eventually we located the keys in our own car and apologized for the trouble we had put them to. They were most gracious and could not have been more polite.

No complaints whatsoever.

Cabin we stayed in was a beautiful fresh modern cabin, of good size, very comfy bed. Large bathroom. Quiet room. Quiet park. We didn't really use the park amenities as we weren't there long enough. It was really good value for money and we'd definitely stay again. Handy to town if you drive. We were very happy with our stay.

The gentleman who checked us in barely spoke a word to us. But was forthcoming with directions to our cabin still. The shower silicone had patches of black and could do with a freshen up. There was a spot of pink mould on the shower door. This wouldn't stop us staying again though.

Sam and John at the G'day Park was the best! I had an issue with the mattress and Sam promptly organised a brand new mattresses to be brought all the way from Ballarat on a Saturday! cannot thank them enough for the best services they offer! It's a great place and I have stayed there before as well and will definitely book it again! Couldn't ask for a better host!!!
