We stayed in a villa unit at the back of the motel. These are prefab units similar to what you might find in a caravan park. The unit was spacious, comfortable and warm, and was spotlessly clean. It had everything we could need for our stay and being right in the centre of Great Western was perfectly located. Very happy with it. The owner of the hotel Bruce was a very friendly and helpful host. One hint: DO have dinner at the pub: the meals are very nice (The ribs were the best I have had in years!)

I honestly cannot think of anything that would make it better. Now, knowing and accepting it is not 5 star, it is really very good accommodation for what it is. I would happily stay there again!

This accommodation was perfect for what we wanted. Warm and cosy, had everything we needed for an overnight stay. And walking distance to cafe's and the restaurant. Loved it!

Only hiccup was The Great Western bistro had an unusually busy night when we were there, so it took an hour and a half to get our food which was tricky with kids. Food was delicious when it came though and we just chalked it up as a one-off - the staff were very apologetic and gracious.

Was such a surprise find! It was a difficult time of year (Dec 27th) to find affordable family accomodation and we had never heard of Great Western before. The accomodation were well appointed , spacious jayco holiday units behind the local historic pub. Due to being a stones throw away from cellar doors such as Seppelt, the wine list was incredible. The pub served meals which were hearty pub fare. The staff were very busy but still had time to be friendly and helpful. What an unexpected gem!

There was nothing we didn't like.

A well-organized, clean space with two bedrooms, a living area, kitchen, and essential toiletries. A perfect place to stay! Woolworths is just a 12-minute drive away, and nearby hotel opening hours are 4 to 6pm .There's a cafe right across from the motel. Stawell, a small town with all amenities, is conveniently located just a 12-minute drive away.

Gas was a bit slow, and it took too long to cook tea. And iron, i believe, wasnt there .

Villa was so clean and comfortable. Much better looking than the pictures. The kitchenette was well equipped with a full size fridge, microwave, stove, pots/pans and cutlery. The sitting room had a large comfy modular sofa and the 2 bedrooms had double bed in each. The shower pressure was wonderful (no bath but not an issue for us). Linen, towels and basic amenities all provided. Everyone including the little kids had a good night's rest as all was calm and quiet even though we were adjacent to a pub/restaurant.

No dedicated "car park spot" but it was safe enough in front of the villa and off street so no real dramas.

The cabin was spacious & well appointed. The beds were comfortable & warm. Great pillows. The bathroom & separate toilet were clean & the towels were good quality & fluffy. It was very quiet location. Pick-up & return from Seppelts dinner was a great bonus I would certainly return.

Nothing not to like, but will just mention a couple of "jobs": *The key was a bit tricky - maybe some lead would help (unit 6) *The shower mixer leaked quite liberally despite turning mixer to various points - needs attention

Basic comfortable & clean room. Had tea & coffee and a fridge. And a closet for clothes. Hot water takes a while but shower is good! Nice clean towels & soap provided.

I really prefer a decent size pillow because one thin one is not enough & two is too much haha. Apart from that it wa great & comfy! If you cant sleep with road noise - this is not the place for you!

We headed to the Seppelt Winery so was the perfect location. The room itself was exactly what it said on the box and everything we needed. Great value for money. Big room. Clean with fridge and came with 2 decent sized milks for hot drinks (those little UHT packets dont cut it). A nice cafe across the road too.

It was allgood.

It was clean and tidy and good value for money. The tv only had 2 stations that you could watch, the others only has sound. They bed was a little hard. Overall I was happy with my stay, The meals there were very nice.

The tv didn’t work properly and the bed was a bit hard.

Position. Facilities.

Damage to the unit inside. Doors hard to close. No soundproofing.. sold as villas but were Jayco transportables. Cutlery was useless. Decor and furnishings seemed second hand.. outside areas were un landscaped. Steps to the units would not pass regs.
