The photos don't do it justice. We stayed in the deluxe chalet for 2 nights, and it was fantastic. The variety of wildlife (many ducks/ ducklings, colourful birds, kangaroos, bunnies and deer!) was a delightful bonus! The staff were wonderful and happy to assist with any queries we had during our stay.

Only one thing to comment on is the lack of an oven in the chalet itself. There is a communal one that is easily accessible so it's really not a problem, but given the amenities available inside the chalet, I thought it was an odd choice for the oven to be communal.

Huge cabin met lots of facilities. Very clean and comfortable. We upgraded to a deluxe chalet at check in, which was totally worth it as you have unobstructed views of the pond and grasslands behind the hotel, which are teeming with wildlife.

Standard Plus chalets are mostly the same as the deluxe ones, but are closer together and lack the wildlife experience.

A beautiful location with Chalet looking directly out to grass where kangaroos and emus frequently grazing. The first night we stayed a huge wind storm hit the area - the chalet was solid and kept us safe and cozy. Walking distance of the local Indian and conveniently located to Halls Gap Creek. The chalet had everything we needed for a short stay and perfect for a couple.

Outlook is superb, with cockatoos, magpies, kookaburras in the trees opposite and kangaroos hopping up to the door. Location quite a walk to town, but the trade-off is that it's very peaceful. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

We arrived earlier than anticipated at 11 but had to wait until 1.30 to check in. But not a big deal!

The chalets are extremely well laid out and very comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for and then some! Our chalet faced a lovely pond with ducks and kangaroos on the edge and in the field behind. The outdoor shared kitchen has all the extra cooking supplies like oils vinegars and spices. The shared fridge in the outdoor kitchen was also was well stocked. Yet our chalet also had a full kitchen and fridge for our own supplies. The shower is spacious and the jetted tub looked devine, although we didn’t use it. Peter, our host, was gracious and delightful.

The king size bed is a of good quality. However, it was a bit too firm for our liking.

The balcony with the all time visitors ( kangaroo, kakadoo, and also others, that I don't know even what kind of birds they were), everything relatively close - trails, supermarket, bar, makes the place a wonderfull!!! We felt like in the center of a jungel. Massage chair is an excelent addition after a day of traking!!!

What a beautiful property. Lovely rustic chalet with everything you need - kitchen well equipped and basics like salt and pepper, cleaning products and foil/wrap provided. Comfy bed, relaxing spa bath. Nice art on the walls. Well provided shared laundry and bbq area with huge supply of condiments and sauces. Lots of wildlife around the property kangaroos, birds etc. Lovely to wake up to the sounds of nature. Sitting on the deck very relaxing. Conveniently located for walk into town - which has lovely restaurants and cafes, and perfect for exploring the Grampians. Owner very friendly and helpful.

Nothing - it was perfect.

This was the second time we stayed at the Grampians Chalets. They are in walking distance to the main town of Halls Gap & central to all the tourist attractions. The self contained chalets are modern, well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed our 3 night stay & will definitely stay again.

The chalet we stayed in had creaky loose floors in the kitchen & shower. Other than that everything was perfect

One of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed! The deluxe chalet was very clean, spacious and nicely styled. Everything in the room was exactly where I needed it to be. Wonderful power shower, spa bath and comfy bed. I slept very well. The chalet has an outside deck overlooking a pond where I watched sunrise and sunset. The wildlife was incredible! I saw kangaroos, wallabies, a deer, kookaburra, cockatoos, galahs and a superb fairy wren family besides loads of other bird life. It was a magical experience and I think I left a piece of my heart there! ❤️

nothing - it was perfect.

Such a beautiful place, We arrived late about 6:30 pm, it was dark & cold outside. Our host Peter was so welcoming, he had already put the heater on so our room was beautiful & cosy when we walked in The room was beautifully designed, spacious, very clean & tidy and the spa was amazing. We will definitely stay here on our next visit.

The bed was clean & very nicely made, but maybe a little firm for my liking. Everything else was so beautiful though.
