We ordered a continental breakfast and my 93 year old friend and I were delighted with the spread including at our request Weetbix Toast and butter, Iced Coffee drinks two apples and apple fruit juice boxes. Our host was incredibly obliging and even offered to drive us back to where my friends new electric car was being “fast” charged!!! The double family room was comfortable and quiet despite being opposite reception . Would thoroughly recommend - very handy too to centre of Bairnsdale as name suggests .

A lot of the parking space is gravel and therefore not clearly delineated.

I appreciated that there was cold water in the fridge. The room was well presented and clean. There were enough towels and cups, coffee, etc. There weren't any tea bags, but that was fine with us. In general, I found it a perfect place for a stop over during a long trip.

there's cupboards on top of the beds that are very uncomfortable. They are unnecessary and should be removed.

The room was the cleanest we have stayed in this entire holiday. The cleaner had done an exceptional job. Every inch of the room was spotless. We were very happy

We were woken up around 10pm by people laughing and yelling to each other outside our room. When we went outside there was a box of empty alcohol containers beside our door which might explain the noise.

The young man that served me was quite polite but the older Man walked around like he wasn't happy I tried to smile at him but his demeanor wasn't nice at all it's a shame because that's the only fault I have other than that I loved the room and the peace and quiet

I didn't like being made to feel like I didn't belong I am Aboriginal and when you have The owner looking at you so serious that you don't know where you stand, If I give out good positive vibes I deserve to have them back

No breakfast but a VERY central location so finding breakfast was easy. The room had a toaster, electric jug and a microwave but only cups, glasses and teaspoons, so other items need to be brought. Jug of cold water in the fridge was appreciated. Lots of tea, coffee and sugar provided.

Towels were a little small and thin - but very clean.

It's off the main drag, so it's much quieter than the previous place we stayed at in Bairnsdale. It's not sparkly new, but it's perfectly fine. Nothing to complain about, and the staff (the manager at the desk) was very helpful and cheery.

The motel was fine, clean etc, but unfortunately for us the next room has a lot of shouting going on..

The manager was friendly, helpful, and obliging. The Motel was quiet, despite being central to the main town of Bairnsdale. The Motel is old, but relatively clean and all facilities were in working order. The fridge and freezer in particular, was perfect. The bed was firm and comfortable. I felt safe and secure in the motel room I stayed in.

Great location - close to town shops, station and the Mitchell River. Room basic but clean and comfortable. Staff - manager very accommodating of late arrival and need to store bags the next day for later pickup

Found the bed a bit hard.

I love how close to everything it was and the staff were absolutely amazing super friendly and just lovely people big shout out to Deb ( pretty sure that was her name) she checked us in and chatted to us through out the stay absolutely lovely lady!

I didn’t have an issue at all, my friend did say he found the bed uncomfortable- probably just need an update but I would honestly stay here again

After hours checkin, microwave oven, generally clean, quiet, had everything necessary. Overall, great value for money, and a pleasant experience.

The shower facility is a bit old, and the materace could have been harder (although that is personal preference).
