HAD CHOICE OF ROOM LOCATION WHICH MOST OF TIME YOU DON'T GET OFFERED. MANAGER VERY FRIENDLY AND INFORMATIVE. HOUSEKEEPING STAFF EXCELLENT. FOR A MOTEL PROBABLY CIRCA 70'S GROUNDS NEAT AND TIDY AND ROOMS THE SAME. CLOSE TO EATERIES, FUEL, SUPERMARKETS AND WINDEMERE HOTEL. 10 MINUTES TO BASKETBALL STADIUM. BATHROOM GOOD SIZE AND HOT WATER DIDN'T RUN OUT

MAYBE A SOME MINOR UPDATES IN ROOMS SUCH AS PICTURES AND TV MOUNTED ON WALL INSTEAD OF BENCH. POWER POINTS LIMITED AS ONLY FEW ESCPECIALLY FOR TODAYS NEEDS (MOBILE PHONES, LAPTOPS, iPADS efc).

Great location, close to everything I needed. Staff were lovely. Room contained what I needed - kettle, toaster etc. Mostly quiet - but you can't control what time other guests leave/arrive (or how quiet they are). Lots of parking. Heating was good. Electric blanket worked well.

Bed was a tiny bit lumpy, but still OK. Couch was quite low, but I have a bad back so it's got nothing to do with the owners. Really no general complaints.

Staff were very helpful with us needing a later check in! It was very clean and perfect for the sleep we needed before hitting the road again. Loved the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner being bigger bottles on the wall, great idea.

It was a little noisy from our neighbours and the road but quietened down eventually! Other then that I can't fault it.

Even though an older motel - the room features were up to date and gave you everything you needed, they were spotlessly clean, heating worked perfectly and bathroom was a great size, shower was hot and pressure better than home. Manager and staff were very happy to assist with any queries or requests.

The only disadvantage which is a sign of times of Covid and through no fault of motel is no in room breakfast (old style), its always lovely to wake up and have breakfast provided whilst away. This is something we were aware of prior and the motel had the facilities (toaster/microwave/kettle) to enable us to look after ourselves.

Cannot fault anything. It is a nice and cosy small gem. Shower and room were spacious enough. Pool and surrounding was clean. Has a big bbq area with large family sitting. Walking distance to ALDI and local shops.Would come back for sure.

On entering the room smelt amazing - so fresh and clean. I was surprised that it didn't look like the photos on booking.com. The interior brick walls (room 7) were gone, plastered over and painted so room was white and clean. The bathroom still had the original brick. The bathroom was spacious enough - we only stayed one night. Room had a small fridge and microwave. Sliding glass doors led out back to a small sitting area but it was the middle of winter so we didn't use it. The room was extremely spacious - one queen bed and two singles and still plenty of room for 4 adults. In fact enough room for another single bed, to give you an idea of how much space we had to move around in.

Very comfortable stay. With three adult females sharing the bathroom, it would be great to have a full length mirror or just an additional mirror in the main room too. Also the door/lock needs looking at. Had to push real hard to get it to close and hold it there until it was locked. Minor details.

Cleanliness of all areas, great easy location. Staff where able to help us with any requests. Was easy for us to jump on road for Melbourne for a day trip.

Light switches where random places, Carpet was a bit old and in need of a good steam cleaning ( was clean just not our standard) Aircon didn’t have much power

Staff were there to check me in and were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and pillows were good! Free Laundry onsite, nice outdoor rear courtyards adjoining every room. Nice spacious room and bathroom. Good pressure in shower, ample parking, close to shops some pubs, fast food and restaurants.

Bit noisy near hwy BUT rooms were quite soundproof only heard a truck or two and a couple of emergency services sirens when in the room.

The rooms were very clean and kept neat and tidy, could not complain with the cleanest of the room or bathroom area it was kept very clean and that is coming from someone that cleans themselves, so this is something my husband and l always notice more than most. The owner was so very helpful even before we arrived and worked in with us in what we needed, he made us feel so very welcome and made our stay pleasant. The bed was a bit firm for our liking but everyone has their own preference when it comes to bed.

There really wasn't anything we could say we didn't like as for the price it was very good value for the money and had everything we needed as well as a nice clean room and bed to sleep in for the night. The owner is lovely and made us feel very welcome. Would recommend this motel to family and friends

Very friendly and helpful owners. First impressions of the room was great. A little dated but very clean and the room smelt lovely.

I found the mattress to be quite hard but that is not a fault as everyone has different likes. The only thing I missed was plates and bowls in the room (were available at reception) but wasnt aware till like 9pm after reception was closed. Also maybe add smart tvs that allow a few more channels other than that I would definitely come back to stay.
