Lovely old heritage building with a fireplace in the room. The firewood was replenished each day. Also had reverse cycle air con to warm the room quickly. King size bed with electric blanket was very comfortable. Great location within walking distance to main street and restaurants. Although on the main road, it was so quiet. Very clean and fully serviced each day.

Bathroom was icy cold. It would be nice to have had some form of heating in there. We would have liked a table to sit at. The 2 seater lounge was positioned under the television which made it impractical.

This location is convenient to anywhere of interest. You seem too to attract kind and caring guests. When booking, I forgot to inform that I needed a downstairs room as I could not climb the stairs and that my husband just had have a surgery. Reception was helpful and spent sometime finding us an alternative. A couple walked in and overheard my dilemma. The guest did not hesitate to offer to take all my bags up. What a caring guest and person.

The tap in the bathroom sink drips and I have to turn the taps really tight to stop the noise from the intermitent drippings. A change of the washer is required? Perhaps just a bit more attention to maintenance.

We had a mezzanine room and my son had a basketball game, which put some time pressure on us. The communication was great and a text was sent saying the key was in the room, making it easy for the young person meeting us there to get ready in comfort and avoiding having to disturb staff as the night went on. Staff emailed Mother's Day brekkie suggestions, which were much appreciated. We had a slow start to the day on Sunday and appreciated a little flexibility with the check out time. Wifi was great. Information easy to find.

If I was picky, it was a bit fiddly to plug in chargers and a powerboard would have helped for the mezzanine floor. An easy fix.

This place is not flash but our 3 night stay was so lovely! Walking distance to the main street and the Convent. Clean and comfy. The furniture is a little dated but without doubt Melissa & Michael went above and beyond to make us comfortable. This included a copious continental breakfast, access to extra crockery & cutlery and a happy hour in the garden every afternoon. Dinner and suggestions for outings were also very much appreciated. I'd stay again!

Central Springs Inn is an affordable and well located option for a stay in Daylesford. A short stroll from shops, restaurants and pubs in the centre of Daylesford as well as Wombat Hill and the Convent gallery. Our ground floor room was basic, but comfortable enough.

The bathroom was a bit cold in winter and the room’s coffee making facilities were below modern motel/hotel standards - but an espresso coffee was available across the road and the inn offers breakfast for an additional fee.

The Central Springs Inn was well located a short walk from Daylesford centre. The room was compact but well insulated from sound and was warm. The size was adequate for our needs and the heritage feel was to our liking and met all our needs. To our surprise a good Indian restaurant serving vegan meals at a fantastic price was located just across the road. Hepburn springs baths was only 3 kilometers away

When l made the booking l forgot to ask for a ground floor room due to my sister's health issue. So when l checked in I realised we had an upstairs room booked. I went back in and spoke to reception and asked if we could get a ground floor room due to my sister's issue. The lady at reception was lovely and without hesitation got me a ground floor room. Great customer service and great room. Thank you.

The heritage rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. Although there were basic coffee/ tea facilities and a fridge, the property was within walking distance to fantastic restaurants and shops, so no need for anything else. The garden had lots of seating areas for outside drinks and eating. Parking within the property grounds was a bonus. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Its near the town center and only few kilometers away from Lake Daylesford, Hepburn Springs, different shops and to all nice places you want to visit. The accomodation feels so homey, clean environment, very welcoming staff, quiet and peaceful area. There’s option to have cooked breakfast and free parking. This place is highly recommended.

The location was great, very close to the main town Centre and the bed was very comfortable with electric blanket, crisp linen sheets, doonas and plenty of extra blankets if required. A nice touch was that the heating in the room was put on prior to our arrival.

A little more coffee and milk in the room would have been nice but not really a big deal, nothing else comes to mind.
