Clean and easy to get to. We do love coming here

We asked for the Gaming or Cars room and got Jungle. I doubt anyone ever asks for Jungle and it was ok but disappointing that we booked so far in advance. The pool continued to have no towels everytime we went down there and kept having to ask for some to be bought down. The bed was so wobbly that any movement I woke instantly so exhausted by the end of 3 nights. Would have expected more from $1400 but we had a nice time

-The staff at the front desk were very friendly. Special thanks to Maria who welcomed us warmly and provided advice on transportation within the city. - I wrote to the hotel two days before my trip with questions and got a response from Kayah within minutes. - The twin studio room was very clean. - The property is located close to transport (train, tram bus) and restaurants.

- There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom/toilet. We had to keep the bathroom exhaust fun running whenever we were in the room. - We were on the second floor and the view of the city was blocked by a building. - The toilets located near the dining area were not clean.

On check-in Jonty was fabulous. Polite, very helpful and friendly. Thanks Jonty. Breakfast was really good, we loved the buffet. The pool and spa were amazing, we loved the extra towels available. We received essential items in the bathroom such as toothbrushes and toothpaste set and shaving sets, which was a surprise. We were even able to order more when we ran out. Great service! The kettle leaked. However, when notifying the team on the virtual assistant, it was replaced within 30minutes - exceptional service ensuring the safety of their guests. Would love an option to change the bed configuration to 2 x singles/queen or king. Especially for families travelling.

The room was a little out-dated and did have marks on the walls. A scrubbing brush, vegetable peeler and scissors would of been handy in the kitchen area. Our first night we were awoken to loud banging noises from 1am-1.30am. They were extremely loud and woke everyone up including the children. If it went on for any longer I would of called reception to complain, but another guest may have bet me too it as we didn't have any noise the following night.

Really great location close to everything in the CBD, in the free tram zone but still suitable for walking to most places too. Staff at check in and all other occasions were awesome, always with a smile, happy to help and go above and beyond. Apartment was pretty big, layout was good and all of the furniture, fixtures and fittings were in excellent condition.

There was a noise outside the property, like an extraction fan coupled with an electrical buzz and crackle, pretty much all through the night that stopped occasionally but was on long enough to make it difficult to sleep. Didn’t bother the kids but I needed earplugs through the night. Don’t think it’s from the hotel so difficult to fault them for this but it is annoying. Still a great place to stay and would do so again.

The room was spacious, and the bathroom fairly tidy. It was good to have a almost full kitchen to use. The breakfast buffet had all the basics you would expect, and the cooked-to-order eggs (poached, omelette etc) were a nice touch.

The mattress was very soft and sort of sunk in the middle. The kettle was quite dirty inside and it took 3 days and just as many reminders to get it changed. Some bathroom tiles had something that looked like black mould in the grouts. For breakfast, the pastries all tasted quite bland and dry. The gym being so close to the pool had a strong smell of chlorine.

location is great, transportation is easy, hire car places and trams are very close, everything you need for a visit to Melbourne is right on the doorstep, indoor pool is really good as well and a large park across the road is a great place for a stroll.

check-in time at 3 o'clock is a bit later than what I would like, especially when flights seem to either be very early or very late into Melbourne from Tasmania, also staffing in the bar area is a bit spasmodic. Room rates can be a bit pricey if you are on a budget.

I actually have stayed here before but didn’t realised until we checked it. Prior was with friends, this time with my child. I absolutely loved the Brazilian employee who helped us check in. I forgot her name. She was so lovely and helped me with my extremely overexcited child during the somewhat lengthy check in process (my fault with cards). We also loved the breakfast buffet, my son particularly liked the automatic pancake maker. It was the best buffet I’ve ever seen and especially with a four year old, being able to come down and eat a bunch of things before going out for the day, avoiding time wasted at a cafe/meltdown of hunger was so helpful. The toothbrush package with paste was also great as of course I forgot our toothbrushes! I loved that it was a four minute walk from the train station and trams and like an eight minute walk to Hardware Lane. Its on a quiet street so you’re not getting swamped by foot traffic like Flinders or other more populated places.

The soap provided is pretty awful - but I know most people would bring their own soap - I totally forgot so needed to buy a bar. It was very dry and awful. Also the sheets are a bit vinyl scratchy. But we were so tired at the end of our days I didn’t notice in the end but if you’re sensitive to this it may be helpful to be aware in advance.

The room is very clean each day. Toiletries were refilled everyday. They have laundry room that is very helpful if you have dirty clothes just pay $5 and another $5 for drying, just bring detergent if not, they have in reception for $2. The breakfast buffet and ala carte dinner with bigger portion are very good. Reception and restaurant staff are nice. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our entire stay.

Their pool is 1.5 metre or 5 feet so shorter people or those who can’t swim might not enjoy the bigger pool. But they’ve got like a jacuzzi, so you can still enjoy soaking the warm pool.

Booked it for my son to attend practical sessions for Melbourne Uni. Everything was great - facilities, room (loved the colour), kitchen, storage design, dedicated computer area, WiFi, staff, location to CBD, transport. He even had an unexpected view of Flagstaff Gardens from his room. Baggage storage was useful as his flight came in earlier in the day. They also had special rates for longer term stays - he had a Queen Studio for 7 weeks & never regretted my choice. Would love to stay their again. He didn't think to take photos until after he'd unpacked because he just wanted to make it his home away from home straight away (so photos have some of his belongings and he'd already rumpled his lovely big bed so I cropped it out but plenty of space all around the bed).

Seriously nothing!

The location of the hotel was very convenient if you plan to go to the CBD and Docklands. Staff are very friendly, you can contact room service with a QR code when you recieve the room key, borrow their umbrellas, and even held onto our large bags after check out since we had time to spare before our flight. Majority of the appliances worked so overall our stay was a positive experience.

The only issue we did have is that we found some socks that were probably left by the previous guests under a chair. Considering how we did recieve a call from staff that it was ready around 11am but we didn't check into the room until much later into the afternoon because we were exploring the CBD, we would've appreciated that the extra amount of given time was spent on checking the room was clear of previous guest items.
