Everything about Tallawarra Homestead was wonderful. I was warmly greeted on arrival, taken on a tour, shown my room and then offered a fresh pot of Earl Grey tea to enjoy sitting around the open fire in the large enclosed verandah/ common room area. All rooms are beautifully furnished, extremely comfortable and you're immediately made to feel at home. Andrey & Janine are both to be commended for such a wonderful stay; especially 'above and beyond' giving me a gorgeous bouquet of fresh flowers from their garden on departure. I wish Andrey & Janine every success in life.

Unfortunately I could only stay for the one night. I didn't like the fact that I had to leave the next day!

An overnight stay at Tallawarra Homestead exceeded all our expectations. The room was quiet, super comfortable, and in the peace of the countryside made a calming experience, our ensuite bathroom was super clean and welcoming. A bonus is the Harmony room at the property for relaxing ... although the entire property had a calming and tranquil ambiance. Janine and Andrey are super hosts and the breakfast was excellent too.

Nothing really .... the room was a bit too warm when we arrived, although it was easy to adjust the room temperature.

Location is unique. Thorough enjoyed our stay. The Homestead has everything you need. Decor is lovely and the hosts Andrey and Janine delightful people. They have done everything to make this accommodation a lovely experience. You won't be disappointed in your stay. Beds were comfortable and linen very good. Breakfast good choices and tasty. Can't fault anything enjoy your stay there.

Stunning scenery with beautiful hosts. Accomodation was clean, spacious and homely. Came with the intention to relax and did just that. Plenty of space provided to relax, read, enjoy the scenery and some quiet time. Hosts made the experience wonderful and were very friendly. Room was clean, light-filled and spacious. Breakfast of our choice was made on time and very filling. Can't wait to go again!

This is what you think of and imagine when you are travelling and book an accomodation. It was a perfect experience. All around great, above and beyond setting, hosts, accomodation.. absolutely nothing was or could have been wishes for to be better. Would have preferred to stay a month or more and just enjoy the setting.

That we didn't have more time to stay and enjoy Tallawarra Homestead

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tallawarra with Janine & Andrey. When we first arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome, and stunned by the interior. It feels like stepping into a castle - immaculately presented and very clean, with lovely finishing touches such as complimentary port, fruit, chocolate, tea and afternoon tea of freshly baked scones, jam and whipped cream with vanilla bean. The beds and pillows are ultra-plush for a comfortable night’s sleep, and the breakfasts were amazing (perfectly poached eggs and scrumptious Bircher muesli ) - just what you’d expect a bed and breakfast to be! Andrey and Janine went out of their way to accommodate us - from providing our choice of fruit and preferred soy milk, to soaking my partner’s linen shirt when she soiled it eating a juicy cherry - and even cleaning up after us when we accidentally dropped a takeaway coffee cup in the hall on our way back from a long day hiking! We thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon sitting in the Coolgardie room, playing acoustic music on the Bluetooth speaker, drinking wine, eating cheese, and watching the kangaroos and sunset. Andrey & Janine also checked in on us every so often just to ask how we were going and if there was anything we needed (which was so thoughtful)! The other highlight was spending the evening by the bar with Andrey and Janine, sampling Irish whiskies and sharing stories. Such a homely stay with warm hospitality, comfortable beds and wholesome, healthy breakfasts. Thank you Janine & Andrey for being wonderful hosts and making our stay so welcoming and comfortable! 100% we will be back!

Attentive hosts, with just the right mix of every need being anticipated, and nothing too much trouble and given privacy to relax. Stunning homestead and property and we look forward to coming back.

Absolute nothing

Hosts were absolutely lovely. Views were stunning, complete with Roos. The indoor outdoor area with a fire place, comfy chairs was pretty perfect. Rooms were amazing and breakfast was fantastic. Litterally nothing to fault.

There was nothing I didn't like!

This has been the best place I have stayed in Victoria. The hosts are just incredibly friendly and really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I can't rate this place high enough, truly a remarkable getaway at great value. The location is stunning and you can clearly see the effort that has gone into it to make it so beautiful. The house itself is so well done with amazing decor. The breakfasts and afternoon tea were great as well. If you are after a few days away to relax, this is the place to go.

Andrey and Janine, wow. Such awesome hosts! Down to earth, kind, easy to talk to and just great people to be around. We really enjoyed our stay there, although short but it was sweet. Really *STUNNING* place with a great location for our little getaway (we were very impressed with the house, surroundings and the service). Great relaxing place to be and soo chill. Andrey and Janine always made sure were ok and that we didn't need anything. Loved the chocolates and the tawny, food was also delicious as we had breakfast there and would love to experience more. We would've stayed longer if we could as its so nice out there away from the city life style but we are definitely going to be going back again and next time we'll be sure to stay a few nights in order to explore more of the property and surroundings. You'll really have to see this place in person to truly see the beauty of it. Thank you Andrey and Janine for such a lovely stay and experience.
