Everything, what a fantastic find for us extending our trip in the region. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. The motel facilities were fantastic including the pool and the BBQ area, the view is stunning and it’s super close to town! Absolutely loved it and will be back again and again. Jackie and Peter go above and beyond to ensure your stay is stress free and enjoyable.

Probably only the WiFi, but we were told about this and wasn’t a huge problem for us.

Perfect room. Perfect location. Stunning scenery. Lovely ovners always up for a chat. Everything you could need in a big room including very comfy beds, linens and large bathroom. Perfectly beautiful, very quiet serene location. Excellent value for money. Have always stayed in Beechworth but its Yackandandah Motel views for me everytime now. Stunning town too.

Nothing! Perfection.

The motel is very well named. The location is beautiful. The room itself showed attention to detail and I particularly liked that I could open the windows, let in the breeze and enjoy the view. Jackie, the host, went to great lengths to ensure that my stay was comfortable. She is to be commended for the manner in which she looks after her guests.

This is not a mark against the motel. It is just a personal preference. I like a firmer bed.

We thought this place was great. On the outskirts of town, nice and quiet. Lots of little extras. They supplied a bucket and squeegee on the veranda so you could wash your windscreen. Hose as well. We noticed that there was a shed with a lock for bicycles. A grey face cloth especially for removing make up and a recycle tub in the kitchenette. Room was spacious, included a table and chairs. We didn’t see the owners, but communication was clear via text. Excellent

Everything was fabulous

Main room a good size which comfortably included table and chairs and a two seater lounge. The bathroom was also a good size. Well set up kitchen area We had a four day booking, extra towels were left in the bathroom and extra teabags. There is a barbecue and swimming pool which guests were using each night. The bluestone gravel area outside the units kept the inside clean. The view down the valley is a plus.

The European wasps were an inconvenience

Jackie and Peter are wonderful hosts and the motel is exceptionally clean. We love the pool and the bbq area. There’s great walks that you can start straight from the motel and the short stroll to the main strip of shops for meals. We stay here primarily for access to the amazing bike rides that the area provides and find it is the best spot for it. Jackie and Peter have added a bike storage area which is also a great addition. This was our third stay and we will be back.

Loved, loved, loved it all! It was a gem we weren't expecting. Large rooms, reat views of the country side, quiet, comfy beds, great pool and BBQ facilities which we made use of for dinner one night. The kitchenette and sink in the room was fabulous and the bathroom large and fantastic. Also a short walk into town. Would highly, highly recommend staying here.

The property was immaculately kept. Spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated room with a great bed and quality linen. Plates, cutlery and a kitchen sink provided. Our room had a lovely rural outlook and was very quiet. It was a 10-15 minute walk to the Main Street of Yackandandah. The hosts were a warm, friendly couple who had turned on the heater for our arrival. Highly recommend this property.

I needed to make changes to my booking due to mechanical issues with my car. The staff were happy to move my booking back a day and even put me in the same room as last time. The comfort of knowing that I still had a room and knew exactly where to go and what to do was a great relief. Communication via text was fantastic and even though I didn't meet the cheerful hosts, I knew they were nearby if I had any questions or needed anything. The rooms were quiet as is the general area where this motel has been built, so road noise doesn't come into the rooms. Plenty of room to park my car, that had just had a new paint job, so I didn't have to worry about people parking too close and damaging it. Very comfy firm bed that I fell asleep in straight away. If you are looking for a quiet comfortable stay away from every one else, this is the place to go.

I really wanted to stay longer, but I had to go home. Oh well - until next time and the time after that and the time after that... I'll be back.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable accommodation in a perfect location. I took the short walk into town each day via the lane and creek trail. Yackandandah is gorgeous. I loved being able to cool off in the pool at the end of a hot day whilst watching the sun set and the moon rise. Really appreciate the pool hours to 10 pm!!
