The quiet and peaceful surroundings, the really well appointed chalet, the helpfulness and flexibility of the management, overall the opportunity to detox from a busy life and share the place with abundant wildlife and somewhere to relax and unwind with privacy but still located close enough to Margaret River for really good food and supplies for my 10 day stay. HIGHLY recommend for any travellers.

Nothing - it was PERFECT !

Lovely location, just across from the waterfalls. Beautiful and quiet. Very clean and cute little place, great for a weekend away. Comfy bed, nice sheets and cute little kitchen!

Bathroom tiny, very awkward to get to the toilet because the door swings against it and it’s very small. Wouldn’t recommend staying longer than 2-3 nights because of the size.

Check in was easy. We contacted the office to seek an earlier check in and this was made available to us. The cottage had everything we needed and was quiet and in a beautiful location (and an easy walk to the waterfall across the road). The bed was super comfortable. Seeing Kangaroos near our cottage was a delight

Nothing really. The bathroom was a little cramped & there isn’t much room for toiletries - and the wifi was slow which made watching streaming services a bit challenging (but we were warned about this in advance by the property)

The location, right next to a waterfall, a short drive away from town

Internet connection, but not fussed as it made me and my partner enjoy the outdoors more, was just a bit difficult to get maps

I just loved, loved, loved my little cottage. It was perfect for my need to tuck myself away and focus on writing. It’s such a unique and thoughtful design - you feel quite private even though there are many cabins alongside. The little kitchen was great, the shower hot and strong and I really noticed how clean and sparkling it was. 10/10 would stay again.

The Wi-Fi isn’t so good but that was perfect for me as it stopped me wasting writing time with endless scrolling!

Great location and the family cottages are really good value. We previously stayed in the smaller units, but the larger family cottages are worth the extra money. If you like kangaroos, you will see them in the garden every morning and evening - and if not, they are around on the next door blocks.

It would be nice if stuff left by previous guests (salt, pepper, oil and other foods that don't go off over night) were left in the kitchen for next guests to enjoy. This would a more sustainable way to manage the premises.

We had the most restful and comfortable stay at Waterfall Cottages. The cottage is clean and cosy. It is surrounded by trees and is calm and peaceful. The waterfall nearby is a spectacular sight in September when the water is gushing through the rocks. The location is fantastic too as it is only a 8 mins drive to the town area and just 4 mins drive to Surfer Point and Margaret River Mouth Viewpoint. It is a good base to get everywhere.

The weak WiFi signal is the only bug bear. It is very slow and lagging.

Beautiful setting just outside of the main town. The room was as described and the check-in and check-out process was very smooth. The wi-fi reached our room and worked well. We enjoyed the area and convinience of being close to the town. There was also plenty of wildlife to watch.

There was a slightly unpleasant smell in the room the first couple of days, unsure if this was related to the plumbing or the general design of the building, after the second night it was much less noticeable. Also the cupboards inside the kitchen had a very strong musty smell and we had to re-wash everything before use

It is very peaceful and comfortable. The cabin is well thought out with a kitchen that has all you need for making a meal. The laundry is free, and the bbq area is easy access. Entry to cabins is first entrance, but you need to drive to 3rd gate to book in. 2nd gate is exit but a bit rough in a small car. Most seem to use 1st gate for entry and exit. Is a distance from town, so you need your car for meals and shopping but worth the effort for the quiet and scenery. Waterfall was dry but is still worth the effort for photos and just sitting and listening to nature. If you are travelling for a relaxing and peaceful break, here is definitely the place to stay.

The exit gate. Otherwise, an ideal relaxing stay.

Lovely stay at Waterfall cottages in Margaret River. The cottage was nicely furnished, spacious and clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Lovely outlook over the lake and the garden, and perfect for watching the kangaroos hopping about on the lawn in the early evening. Very relaxing and restful stay. Close to the town, and a very short trip to a couple of great wineries (eg Cape Mentell).

Wifi was very slow, but not unexpected for this location and 4G signal is patchy too - but sometimes that is better for a relaxing stay...just don't expect to watch Netflix whislt you are there.
