We really enjoyed the Club Lounge Access which includes breakfast, afternoon tea & canapés / happy hour. So was well worth it adding that to our stay! We also really appreciated the personable service provided by Savas! What an asset he is to The Intercontinental 😊

Would be lovely if they had a pool, however can understand this is not possible at this building/location. The rooms were also much smaller than anticipated, and considering we paid $780 for a 1 night stay we were also disappointed we didn’t even get a city view.

I had a great stay for six nights at the Perth City Centre Intercontinental - the room had a city view, was very comfortable with modern amenities. It was cleaned and made up every day - the staff were very friendly and attentive. The buffet was included in the room price and was delicious - lots of healthy options. The egg station staff made a fabulous omelette every morning, there was a station to make freshly squeezed juice which I loved and lots of veggies and fruits. It was very close to the Perth convention center where my conference happened - just a few minutes walk away. Hay Street where it's located was very safe even at night. I highly recommend staying here.

The Intercontinental Perth was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Post Covid, most hotels and hospitality venues struggle to provide the service they once did, but not at the Intercontinental Perth. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always attentive to our needs, providing excellent service and conversation. Rooms were extremely clean with modern and beautiful fit outs and very comfy beds. Our package included a daily buffet breakfast which included so many delicious food options. I absolutely loved this hotel and will be returning here if I decide to visit Perth again.

called for toothbrush and we’re told will be there soon however after waiting about half an hour there were no news about it, opened our door and it’s not there. When we called back the staff told us that the housekeeper went to our room however she saw the do not disturb sign hence she left. 😅 however they immediately send over when we called the second time. Second will be the constriction site noise that started around 6.30am and woke us up, isn’t it supposed to be 7 am according to the law? nevertheless still love intercontinental everywhere we go.

The room was really clean and comfortable. We had a discrepancy with our booking, when booking it was advertised as a club king room with club access so we booked it a year in advance. On arrival it was booked as a cosy room only. After showing my email confirmation they did honour the club access but only a regular room which was fine. The club room staff were amazing members of staff. So friendly and courteous and helpful, it was lovely to see the same friendly faces daily.

Room was small and quite dark but you get that in alot of city hotels. Reception area is dark too. We thought it was an exceptional deal when we booked the club lounge a year earlier before Australia had even fully opened but whether that was a website mistake or hotel mistake either way it wasnt the advertised room on my email confirmation booking

Booked on a deal, great value high room. Spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. Powerful aircon was a welcome relief from the heat, and whilst working remotely. Desk ample for work on a laptop. Room serviced regularly. Staff generally polite and courteous. Well-equipped and under-utilised gym a hidden gem.

Included buffet breakfast generally good, although items often not available/had run out, and very quick to clear tables (once within 10 minutes of sitting down) although this may be reflective of the minimal staff unable to keep tabs on all guests. Somewhat thin walls meant room noise transmitted, although as the hotel didn't seem fully-booked this wasn't personally a major issue.

The customer service was outstanding and the staff were very accommodating. The rooms were modern, well designed, very clean and the beds were really comfortable. The bathroom was equipped with everything you need and I loved the Byredo toiletries. There were a lot of small features that elevated our stay such as the room containing daily complimentary bottled water, portable Bose speakers and Chromecast on the TV. The mini bar and Nespresso maker were also well stocked and discreetly stored behind wood panelling. The hotel is modern, high end and beautifully decorated with multiple art pieces, and is in a prime central location. It doesn’t have a swimming pool but it does have a gym. We enjoyed the a la carte breakfasts which were delicious with great coffee. We will definitely stay again.

We booked a double room and one of the beds did not have a bedside table which would have been appreciated.

Fridge and tea coffee making facility was not very functional. It is like camping fridge slide drawer situation. Looks nice but not functional. Fridge should be bigger so we can put our stuff and should be on the bottom as conventional style bench. Also

1. Our rooms were decorated like new, very modern, spacious and well maintained 2. Hotel staff who managed us were absolutely helpful (from answering my enquiry via email to loading our luggages on to our airport transfer the very last day) - thanks to Penny, Prakash, Soonam, Michael, the indian lady at the counter who activated our access to the lounge when we reported having issues 3. Hotel location is perfect. Just a 5-minute cab ride to Perth Convention Centre, Priceline pharmacy and Krispy Kreme just across the street for getting medicines and snacks. Had to walk a bit to Woolworths supermakets and Hay Street malls where the main shopping is though

1. There was no alert that there was going to be a public holiday during our stay. Many shops and eateries were closed. Informing overseas guests in advance through email would be good. Also might be helpful to keep a list of halal eateries in the area for your Muslim guests just in case 2. Our room cards were not activated for the lounge when we were they were during check-in 3. We had 1 room which had no dial tone with its phone line so we could not make urgent calls between rooms 4. Coffee and tea bags were provided but no sugar was supplied or in 1 room probably not enough for a day 5. Rubbish bins should be lined bcos it's not so appropriate to throw soup bowls and sticky food wrappers into the metal bins.. and 1 bin in the toilet and 1 at the pantry would be good too

Fantastic location. Really lovely hotel, at a great price for the middle of the city. The bar on the 1st floor had a great selection of cocktails, with friendly staff. Good selection of food at breakfast, with friendly service. Room was a good size, comfortable with good facilities. My son left his hat in the room after we checked out, and I called the hotel. They got housekeeping to check, and put the hat at reception for me to pick up which was awesome. Loved it and will definitely be back!
