My room was situated on the ground level overlooking the garden and golf Course, the view was excellent, Kangaroos almost at my door each day. The balcony was a bit dated but adequate for my stay as the weather was not so good. My room was well appointed with a comfy bed and excellent bathroom & shower facilities. Very efficient and quiet heating was welcomed due to the cold weather during my stay. The work area in the room together with excellent free wifi was very good as was the large format TV. The housekeeping was without fault, my room looked like day one, each day I returned and walked in. The breakfast was exceptional, the selection of produce was good and fresh. The chef & welcoming staff were very friendly and accommodating to my needs (my poached eggs came in a flash). Good coffee and plenty of room to find a table with a view of the pool area and a complimentary paper to read. I enjoyed my 4 Day stay.

The garden around my balcony could do with a spruce up, the gardens at the resort are exceptional , but around the balconies they looked a bit neglected. Also I felt the restaurant was very basic for a resort, food was good but very basic. The prices reflected this, so it can be a reasonably priced night out for a family and a quick meal.

The location was wonderful as we like to get away from the city. Having so much space was really nice to and we both loved the shower our room had. Was very warm… the only thing I think would have made it a bit nicer is the positioning of the tv and maybe something complimentary other then the small bottles of water since we had booked the kings suite it would’ve been nice to of had something a bit more from it then just the water

The room and all was very nice however the bed sheet did have a small mark on it which I was a little sceptical of, the bath was the only other thing that looked a bit dirty other then that it was nice, we also had a group staying above us that were a bit noisey which was a little annoying but we still had a great time.

The size of the room was good.. The breakfast buffet was also good. We stayed over the fathers Day weekend, and it wasn't too busy. Which was nice. The pool was empty, only due to the cold weather at the time though, but my kids still ventured in for a dip.

Beds were a bit uncomfortable, rather firm. Pillows were average. Thankfully, I bought my own in the car with me. The bathroom was a bit outdated, too.

Convenient location for a stopover heading north on holidays, great to have parking outside the room (“carpark view” totally fine). Spacious twin room for a family of 4 (2 young kids). Beautiful restaurant, good value with included buffet breakfast which was high quality. The staff were all lovely, from check in/out to restaurant. Lovely grounds, perfect for kids to have a run around, wish I played golf! Would explore the walking track next time.

Overall very happy, but yes as another reviewer said, the shower heads are in need of replacement. A shame the (water) spa is permanently out of action. Older resort but in overall good condition and has a nice vibe and holiday resort charm.

The pool and pool area was beautiful and clean. Disappointing that the spa/jacuzzi was filled with a garden. The buffet breakfast was amazing and all the staff members were so attentive and kind.

We could find no rubbish bins on the property anywhere! We had takeaway containers and nowhere to put them. Also it is meant to be non-smoking but people were smoking and we could smell it often. I ordered a bucket of ice from the front desk and it never arrived so I don’t know what was happening with staff and communication but that request didn’t go through.

Room was clean, comfortable and had a lovely balcony. Bed was very comfortable, felt like home.

Restaurant was very average and it wasn’t very clear that only “bar food” was available Sunday to Thursday. Staff member was rude when I mentioned my surprise. We had been looking forward to a steak. In the end we ordered the pizza which was less quality than a dominoes pizza. Nice location but I’d recommend going out to eat. We elected to include breakfast in our stay and that was as you would expect however only scrambled eggs (ok for me but not if you want another option”.

The staff and facilities were excellent.

No robes or slippers were provided in the rooms. Upon checkout we confirmed this was meant to have been the case. Additionally, apart from the buffet breakfast, the menu was not very large, and the options that were provided ranged from disappointing to flat-out gross.

Spotless and large room, superb meal, attentive restaurant staff, warm welcome upon arrival and departure, value for money and golfing facilities were excellent. We have already booked a return visit.

Bar staff at The Alcove were less than welcoming and quite unfriendly, choosing to ignore us and others waiting to place an order. They could see you waiting and would turn their back and clean the glasses instead of serving. I asked a question about a beverage and was told ‘I don’t know’. Didn’t even bother to ask her colleague. Very poor customer service. We had breakfast at Cafe 28 and the member of staff that (eventually) delivered our food was downright miserable and rude. She asked a question that I didn’t quite hear as I have hearing loss, she then said, abruptly ‘I didn’t ask you that!’ Happy to give further details that would identify the employee, but privately.

great breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, rooms are comfortable but showing their age a little. had balcony and birds although noisy were a delight at 6am. beautiful gardens being surrounded by gold course

everything was pretty good, hard to pick anything tbh but if i had to find a fault when arriving was a decent walk from carpark to reception. there was a pick up and drop off area right next to reception but only 2min stand time which isn't enough time to check in

Breakfast buffet was great and up to expectations. King-size Bed was very comfortable with crisp white sheets. Room was clean. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Gardens were beautifully manicured. The entire hotel was quiet and peaceful. We would have loved to have stayed longer!

Bathroom in our room had tarnishing on plumbing and markings on tiles/grout. Outdoor furniture on our balcony was a bit dated and old. One of the pool gates needed fixing, it was taped up, and glass fence around pond was damaged/cracked. Paving & pathways could be pressure cleaned. The exterior in some parts could do with a fresh paint
