Found a Gem here.. from entering the main reception the check in process was smooth. Walked into our room and that amazing clean smell just sold it for me. 3 single beds 3 bedside tables, television, balcony, great size shower room. Breakfast was very generous normal European hams cheese eggs and then everyday a different meat. Great size cups for tea/ coffee /chocolate. Great choice for all On return everyday from slopes beds were made for us and fresh towels( which was amazing and u expected everyday even after leaving them on the towel rail) Small things like this go along way for me. There is WiFi and TV didn’t watch much television but obviously no English channels which was fine for us. Thomas and the team were more than happy to put the football on in the bar for hubby and drinks are placed on tab for you to pay before you depart. We were setting off early so the team kindly made us bag meals for us to take with us. Roll, Apple and a flapjack style biscuit it was very welcoming. There is a spa here which I didn’t realise when booking so didn’t take any bathers with me but I stuck my head in and it looks very glam. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

There was no kettle in the room but I always take my travel kettle and I got some mugs from breakfast. I had my own tea and sugar. Not sure if I was allowed to use this but the family didn’t tell me otherwise. (I always keep my area clean) Other than that I loved this Gem.

It was fairly close to the Penkenbahn lift, lots of space to store your skiing equipment, rooms were clean and cozy, lovely view from the balcony, the bathroom was incredibly spacious, the sauna was relaxing and the staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.

The Hotel Garni Ferienhof was in an excellent location, just taking a 5 minute walk into the centre of town by the Penkenbahn Gondola, using a short cut. The rooms were excellent at the property, with comfortable beds and good showers. Breakfast was superb, with a good choice of cheeses and cold meats, plus hot breakfast options and a good choice of pastries to finish. The bar was great at the hotel also with a good seating area, and the sauna facilities were excellent also. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this hotel when in Mayrhofen

There was nothing whatsoever to dislike about our stay, as Thomas the owner of the hotel and the rest of his family and staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. They even prepared breakfast 30 minutes earlier than normal for us on our last day, as we had an early airport transfer. Nothing to fault them.

The bed was comfortable, shower was goid. Spa 7s satisfying. Crew is amazing. I enjoyed the rich breakfast as well.

Location is good, but not great. Takes 7 min walk to penkenbhan , if you usectge shortcat proposed by Thomas the owner. The walk from main street (bridge) is dark and there is no sidewalk Street.

Lovely family tan hotel, really close to the ski lift (4 minute walk), rooms were cleaned daily with fresh bedding, breakfast definitely exceeded expectations, was expecting serial and light bites but got a wide variety of salmon, bacon, eggs, sausages! Overall great stay and great value for money!

Amazing stay over the Christmas period. This is a family run hotel and the staff make you feel like one of the family. Lovely tradition feel. Spotlessly clean.

The staff were so kind. The location was excellent. It was a 10 minute walk to town and there are many things to do in the area.

Beds are firm. We brought a fan for better air circulation in the summer evenings.

Home made juices and fabulous fresh jams in breakfast. The personal touch to the details were commendable. The location is perfect if you want to use public transports. Thanks Thomas for a memorable stay.

The Ferienhof breakfast is fantastic ... second to none! The Sauna/Wellness area is excellent. Ferienhof is family run and you are made to feel like one of the family. Ferienhof is the best hotel we have ever stayed in for ski trips in our most favourite resort.

The hotel staff were so welcoming and friendly. Its a family run business and it made us feel at home. I really liked the rooms, as they were recently refurbished.
