Gorgeous location, the room was well equipped and large. Breakfast was also amazing! We found the staff to be helpful and very welcome - you can buy tickets into Strasbourg at reception which is ideal. The view from the room felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but the bus in to the centre of the town takes less than 15 minutes, so you really get the best of both worlds.

There's a real lack of air conditioning - not a problem for most of the year I imagine, but we happened to stay in the midst of very hot weather at the start of September. However, I acknowledge it was probably hotter than it normally ever is (35°) when we stayed, and being in an attic room beneath wooden beams is perhaps one of the main reasons we were quite uncomfortable. But not a qualm persay, we still loved our stay!

Well, everything. Starting from the great location, which is easily reached by bus from Salzburg centre, yet borders open fields and the nearby and spectacular Untersberg mountain. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and comfort in this hotel is extraordinary. I've stayed in many 'high end' hotels through work travel, but none has matched the feeling we had staying at Bloberger Hof. Very convenient for bus transport into Salzburg and out to Untersberg cable car, then to Hellbronn Palace. And, of course, the family themselves... excellent hosts. Each interaction was warm and welcoming. Thank you so much for a very lovely time in Salzburg, and I really hope we can manage a return trip in the future! Ian & Amy

Nothing. It was a perfect stay for us.

We arrived very late by car, just before midnight but it was so logical and easy to make self-check in. Everything is clean and spotless, cozy and warm, not to mention beautiful. Breakfast is served in such a style that you do not even need many items! We loved this place so much and highly recommend for couples for romantic holiday in Salzburg. People are very friendly and notice things - we came from dinner from a local place and had desserts with us - in hotel reception we were given spoons without even asking :-) This is the level every hotel should reach for.

I had a feeling that there had been a smoker in this room earlier, so I had to keep windows open all the time. For the second night it was better already. I had to clean a towel dryer myself because it was very dusty but I was happy that they had one :-D

Staff very friendly and although they are more than happy to speak English, they are also willing to let you try out your German language skills if you wish. Room was lovely and had all the facilities that wou would need. Food - both breakfast and evening meals - were excellent. Very easy to get into Salzburg by bus - the bus stop is just around the corner from the hotel and the buses run about every 20 minutes; plus you can buy the tickets from the hotel Reception. Wouldn't hesitate to recomennend the Bloberger Hof and would certainly stay here if we visited Salzburg again.

This place is a hidden gem! - perfectly located, across the street from the bus stop - wonderful dinner service and some of the best food we have had on our trip! - rooms immaculately clean! Tip- get a balcony room! - staff was friendly and accommodating - the grounds are beautiful. So peaceful and quiet. We loved the swimming pool, and having a glass of wine on the patio Overall this was by far one of the greatest places we have stayed at EVER! The Bloberger Hof was everything we hoped a family-run Austrian inn would be - warm, cozy, charming. The Superior Quadruple Room was perfect for me, my wife, and our two young daughters. It featured a separate living/dining area with pull-out sofa bed, dining table, and refrigerator, and a separate master bedroom with balcony. Laundry service was easy, fast, and affordable. The location on Moosstrasse felt like it was in the middle of the country, but it was only a quick 5-10 minute drive or 20-minute bus ride into the heart of Salzburg. We will definitely stay at Bloberger Hof again the next time we visit Salzburg!

Nothing really comes to mind. The breakfast was a bit sparse, but not bad. A few more options would have been nice. I can't think of anything else that we didn't like - it was truly the perfect place to stay during our visit to Salzburg.

I just wanted to express how wonderful my stay at Bloberger Hoff was! The property is beautifully nestled on the outskirts of Salzburg, offering stunning mountain views that truly take your breath away. The pool was a perfect spot to cool off, and I can't say enough about the lovely breakfast and the accommodating staff. They made my experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this gem! Overall, Bloberger Hof is a wonderfully cozy place to stay, and I felt relaxed throughout my visit. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was friendly. A special thanks to Silvia, who accommodated our late-night check-in. The keys and room were well-prepared.

The mosquito net in my room was damaged, and as a result, a few mosquitoes got in. I had to fill a hole. It wasn’t a major issue for me, but it would be great to fix this for the comfort of future guests (room 27).

Surprisingly convenient location. Easy access into town by bus, and on the way toward all other nearby attractions (Berchtesgaden, Ober Salzburg, salt mines, etc.). Excellent breakfast provided and restaurant at dinner was superb, though decent wines were limited and a bit pricey for European standards. Room had beautiful view, was spacious, updated and very clean. Family run with 3 generations helping out. They even somehow (largely) managed to keep the second hand smoke from wafting through, a rarity in Germany and Austria!

Road noise through open windows and patio door. They also allow smoking on outdoor patios and balconies which means you’re slamming your windows shut or running the gauntlet every time someone steps out on their balcony or lights up outside the back door. I can’t imagine how unpleasant it would be to sit by the pool in the warmer weather. Please make the entire property smoke free and you’ll attract more customers.

I loved the idea of a property out in the hills and this auberge did not disappoint. Gorgeous place all done up for Christmas, and could walk locally which was beautiful. Also so easy with a local bus 2 mins away, straight and easy into town.

Very slightly tedious with uber to/from station as we were at the end of a 6 month trip so had a lot of luggage. If you had only carry on the bus would be much cheaper, easier and faster.
