hotel very historic central ocation central, close to the main shopping street, opera house and a metro station staff very helpful and friendly

Amazing Breakfast; great room, beautiful hotel

-The room was spacious enough and more than perfect. -Lovely breakfast. -Great facilities such as Cafe Imperial and Imperial Bar, didn't have enough time to try the Opus restaurant. -Everyone from the staff was so kind, always ready to help you with any inquiry you had.

-There weren't enough toiletries for two people. -The body lotion didn't actually smell great at all and it seemed kind of old You'd expect better toiletries in such a hotel, but that didn't really affect our holiday since we always have our own, just in case.

This is a classically beautiful centrally located hotel that was previously a palace. I felt like royalty in the room, which had a large bathroom, bedroom and a living area. The staff was amazing and attended to my needs. They were friendly and courteous. The food at the Cafe was good however it was a very large portion. I had the Viennese Schnitzel, that was seasoned perfectly however, it was two large pieces that I could not finish.

There was nothing I really didn't like about this hotel. I would compare it to Empress Sisi after age 35, beautiful, stately, well kept, however starting to show it's age a bit, especially in the rooms. It could use a little freshening up, such as updating the paint here, touching up a nicked wall there. That's it though. It was still beautiful and I would return.

Everything was just exquisite. The staff, the room, the bar, the food all just perfect.

Unfortunately our stay was marred in that our chamber maid helped herself very generously to my Christian Dior face products which I was furious about. The hotel dismissed her immediately but it did unfortunately leave a bad taste in our mouths as this has never ever happened before

OVerall, this was a luxury experience ( and not my first time staying in this exquisite hotel) . The property is absolutely stunning, but I return to stay here because of the very warm welcome from the staff who work there. They are a wonderfully friendly group of people and very very helpful. they always ensure that my trips are fulfilled and help with bookings. There are many beautuful hotels in Vienna, but for me, the Hotel Imperial stands out the best !I cant wait to return.

A beautiful building, friendly attentive staff, great location near the State Opera House. Great attention was paid to my daughter for her birthday. I am especially grateful for that.

A minor but important quibble: The bar was closed to residents from 4-9pm for a private function on a day we stayed. For a hotel of its pedigree and size, no resident should have to leave the only bar in a hotel. Residents should always come first!

A great location, very central to everything. That staff was great and very helpful. Nice restaurant and bar. The robe was great and had chocolate on the bed every night

There was no bathtub.

If there was an opportunity to rate the hotel with a rating higher than 10, Hotel Imperial would definitely get it. Apart from all the standard services that you get in a five-star hotel, which were brought to the highest level in this hotel, due to a sudden health problem that arose during the stay at the hotel, I would like to especially thank Mr. Sebastian Schoener, Andrija Rebac, Dejan and Miša for all assistance and help. All praises to the rest of the staff as well, we will definitely come again.
