I don't say this often but everything was truly ideal in terms of accomodation. Clean rooms, friendly staff, quick access to the metro (2 mins), great area with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Most of all the price was very advantageous considering other available options, and we booked months ahead so there was enough time for research. For future clients, it's worth noting that you have to pay extra for air conditioning, €8/day, but you don't have to book this service beforehand. We would have, but Vienna is chilly during the night so there was was no need to. All in all congrats for your professionalism, we would stay here again next time as well!

Friendly and very helpful host. Tina was brilliant at making us feel at home and recommending places to visit. The room was quite large, clean, and tidy. Location was excellent, very near to high street and local transit links such as the underground rail and bus network. We felt very safe walking late at night in the area.

Nothing serious, only slight inconveniences that didn't take away from enjoying our stay. The room was a little warm at first, but the host was happy to turn the heating down when asked. The shower-head holder/wall fixture is a bit too low for comfort if you are above average height, but the shower head itself is moveable.

First of all I would like to thank Tina as she explains everything from the moment I booked up to check out. The room is beautiful and clean with all the necessary amenities. The location is excellent and is step away from metro station/bus stop where you start your tour of attractions in Vienna. I would certainly book again in this boardinghouse should I travel to Vienna

The shower head should have been installed higher so you don’t have to bend when you shower.

All was wonderful. We travelled in family and although we arrived more than 1.5hours after the appointment, Tina was fabulous. She always is ready to help planning your trip. We were provided with maps and recommendations. Tina has her guesthouse clean, and it is a nice place to spend some days. It is close to the center ant well communicated with metro, tramvia and buses. The bathroom was clean, ordered and calm (although just in front of the window there is a bus station). In general it has a good balance between quality and pricew. 100% recommended.

Excellent accommodation, clean and comfortable and with great amenities such as a kettle in the room and accessible fridge. K & T is situated in a perfect location close to shops and eateries and just around the corner from a Metro and bus stops allowing easy access to the airport and other main train stations. The host was friendly, helpful and gave lots of excellent advice about getting there and for our stay while in Vienna. We loved our stay.

Our hostess and her assistant were cordial and helpful. The location was excellent, only about 3 minutes from the subway. Another short ride to the train station. It was a lovely old building. We appreciated a fan to keep the air moving at night. The neighrhoodcwas actually very quiet for a big city.

I found out I should have requested a mattress topper for the sofa bed because it was very hard. I was given one when the hostess found out I was uncomfortable. I would have like softer sheets. Better light near a mirror for makeup, etc. would be appreciated.

The room was spotless and spacious with a lovely en-suite modern shower room and toilet. I was staying for three nights with a friend for a sightseeing city break and there was lots of room and light with high windows. The outside windows were double glazed (and easily opened) with additional interior windows so it was really quiet. The apartment was on the ground/first floor of a beautiful old building (former palace) with sweeping stone steps and lovely ornate features. The owner was relaxed and friendly and very accommodating - she also communicated really well with us in advance of our trip. There was a microwave and fridge in the entrance hall which we didn’t end up using as the Mariahilferstrasse is so convenient for bakeries and cafes. The apartment is literally in the same building as a famous old Viennese cafe Cafe Ritter which was open from 7.30-10.00pm most days closing only slightly earlier on Sundays (9pm) so we just got up in the morning and walked round the corner to have a continental breakfast and coffee. They also had lots of Viennese dishes on offer for dinner (including Schnitzl and Gulasch) and served hot food until closing. The famous Ringstrasse and the Museums quarter are at the bottom end of the Mariahilferstrasse and at the top end is the Westbanhof train station. It’s a long street but is easily walkable. In any case the apartment is literally next to the orange U3 Neubaugasse station which connects with all the old inner city tube stations in minutes - including Stephansplatz and the tube and train station Landstrasse Wien Mitte which has regular overground trains to and from the airport. This station also has lockers which only cost €2.50 for the day so my friend who had a later flight departure than me as she was travelling to another airport was able to leave her luggage there and stay on in the city before getting a later train to the airport.

Nothing. It was an excellent place for me and my friend to stay for a few nights. It is the perfect base from which to enjoy all the wonderful sights this city has to offer and would be equally convenient for a family trip.

Very comfortable stay for our 4 days. Close to everything and loved the ease of Vienna transportation. Tina, our host was very accommodating in every aspect. She gave important information when we arrived that helped our city visit to be very enjoyable. She also assisted us with finding a private medical clinic when my husband fell ill. Thanks for all your kindness Tina!!

Perfect location, spacious room, amazing mattress and very kind and thoughtful staff - they offered my partner a small bottle of sparkling wine for her birthday :-). Overall, super comfortable and great value for money. Best place we´ve stayed in our recent travels!

It was really a great stay, so this is a minor detail. But what could be improved is the attention to the use of the amenities - such as cleaning the tea cups that had been used and supplying more shampoo once it was close to being finished. But really, everything was great and we totally recommend staying here!

The owner met me on arrival and explained all the facilities inside the boarding house and the immediate surrounds, the shops and eateries. Also, where the big tourist attractions were located on the map. The instructions on how to get to the boarding-house were spot-on, took me less than an hour to get there. Although food is not provided, there are lots of cafes, bread shops and a supermarket in the immediate vicinity. The boarding house is well located, right beside the Naubaugasse U3 station so central Vienna is just a short train ride away.

The room I had was beside a bus terminus. However, with the double glazed windows and heavy curtains the noise was minimal. Dont let that put you off!
