The room was big and comfortable. The bed was great, the room has A/C but no remote control. They had a coffee maker and left water and two buns. They changed towels everyday and cleaned the bathroom. The building is pretty but they were fixing it. It is very near the Rathaus and the university. Many places near to have breakfast and public transport. I really liked this place!

We were worried about the self check in, but it perfectly. Everything was perfect, loved it. Will be back!

A Wonderful Stay at Urban Rooms Rathaus. Highly Recommend! The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities one could need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. I particularly loved the view from my window, it was breathtaking and added a special touch to my stay. The location of the hotel is another big plus. It is conveniently situated close to major attractions, shopping areas, and public transportation, making it easy to get around and explore. Despite being in the heart of the city, the hotel maintained a peaceful and quiet environment, which was much appreciated.

Very nice and cozy place, stayed with a couple of friends in a room for 3 and we were all pleased with service. The room was clean and staffed with all necessary amenities(towels, shower gel, shampoo, lotion, cups, coffee machine etc). The room service was provided everyday. Appreciated the location, quiet street 5 minutes walking distance from center, with a lot to explore, accessible transport, different restaurants and shops.

The sofa bad was a bit too flat, we could have asked for an extra quilt, but we didn't:)

Really poorly signed, only small poster on one side of door then looked like walking into building site. Took me and a very kind taxi man several attempts to find. Clearer signposting would really help or mention in contact that although is building work just go up a couple of floors and it will be fine.

The location was great...close to everything and in a safe neighborhood.

The beds were very firm. I asked for 3 extra pillows at booking and didn't have them upon check-in. I sent a message to reception that took a while for a response. Eventually, I ran into a very friendly housekeeper who gave us the pillows. The elevator has charm but is old, so has size/weight limitations. The TV was very small. All in all, the room was clean, in a great location, and the check-in/out instructions were easy, and the process was very straightforward.

I preferred this place being nearby to the Vienna University. It has a good location; you can go by walking mostly everywhere and you can use urban transportation. The room was clean and enough for a solo traveler.

I think this property has been renovated but my room was looking inside of the building’s interior space which is dark. I really did not enjoy that

The comfort of the beds is incredible. The high ceilings balance out the small room perfectly, giving you a sense of spaciousness. Collecting/Returning the keys was easy and simple. The property is well connected and one could say it is at walking distance from the centre. The retro look is not for everyone but we loved it as well as the intention of renovating the bathroom just enough so it doesn’t lose its charm. Toiletries and complementary bottle of water were definitely appreciated.

Additional furniture like the vintage armchair and sofa would have definitely contributed more to our stay as long as they weren’t dirty. Both were stained and none of us had the slightest intention of even touching them. In addition, one has to be very careful with the lift as it is slow and old. The view of the window is basically an inner side of the building and on the other side we could see another apartment, there wasn’t much light coming in. Lastly, we were asked to sign a registration form that we had no option but to sign. I would have definitely preferred the property not having my phone number saved after my stay, as well as not having to sign beneath the following condition: “I agree that the credit card information used for payment will be stored for my next stay”.

The room was comfortable, bathroom clean. The coffee machine, croissants and e small fridge were a pleasant surprize taking into account some of the comments of travellers. Additionally, there is a small kitchen on each floor so that one can make a cup of tea. I also liked nice lamps at the beds, that contributed to an agreable atmosphere in the evening.

It would help if the key-box would be on the proper storey where one stays, For those who live on other than second stock it would be more comfortable. I did not have any luggage but I can understand that for those who do, it is not very handy and a bit confusing to rise to the 2nd floor and then try to find their way to the Mezzanin where the rooms beginning with 1 are placed. Otherwise I was very content with my stay.

Brand new rooms, spotlessly clean.and so very comfortable! Would definitely stay here again, and also would be happy and feel confident recommending it to anyone else! Perfect location for all the sights and restaurants.

Nothing to complain about, maybe a few more coat hangers would be a good idea, but thats nothing major is it!

It was our first self check-in experience. The information the hotel provided was very clear and gave us detailed info on what to do if we want to keep our luggage with them. Went smoother than I expected.

The room got cleaned pretty late at the day, and they don't seem to be flexible about it.. That's not a big deal but just a point to be considered.
